Owner of the (Animal) Detective Agency
It was really nice to be honest, it was a fun read and I liked the characters. I wish it was longer.
Tonari no Metaller-san
I really liked this one, it was a really good read. Loved both main characters, and as someone who both likes metal, has social anxiety, and difficulty speaking I immediately developed a soft spot for Soushi. I’m so glad they’re happy (ಥ◡ಥ) 100/5
Ginmokusei: The Tailor Shop
It was a cute story 4/5
The Art of Taming A Tiger
4.5/5 This was a good manhua, this is what I’m talking about when I ask for good BL. This has a good plot, good world building, interesting characters, good humor, a nice big cast of fun side characters that help make the story more nuanced, and scary ghosts to top it all off. The story isn’t entirely focused on the gay romance, it’s a paranormal/urban fantasy story with a gay couple as main characters and I thought that was so refreshing to see, specially in Korean manhuas that tend to lean heavily on the toxic bl tropes and the mountains of porn. It wasn’t perfect, the ending seemed kinda rushed and it felt a little anticlimactic for all the buildup it had, there were some loose ends as well. ButI felt the story had a good premise and a lot of potential. I really hope to see more plot heavy stories with queer romances like this around.
Omae no Yubi de Toroketara
Midnight Rain (CTK)
This was great! The characters and the plot were good, and even though I would have liked it if it went a little more in depth with the MCs backstories and the development of their relationship, I think it gave the reader enough to understand their motives and personalities. Also, the author it’s great at drawing grown beefy hairy men which it’s always a plus, the art style in general is awesome.
