Honestly, two words describe this best... just like someone in the comments said: HIDDEN GEM. This doesn't get the recognition it deserves!! It's amazing! And I feel like i couldn't understand the full meaning of the sentences sometimes because they are really deep. It looked like a real work of literature you know. I'm so glad things turned out good for them, i'm really happy because i was SO AFRAID they were going to get a sad ending. THANK GOD. But their dependence on each other makes me worry since they really don't have anyone else and that's really sad and not healthy. Oh and the art is beautiful and unique.

this took a turn... was hoping just a story about the delinquent getting with the new guy but BAM MAFIA and SAD STUFF. i dont like when there's year gaps in the story, like 4 years later, it reminds me of how life actually works shit haha i guess akira got caught up with yakuza later (but didnt do anything bad, just prostituted himself) and had a real self destructive behavior back in highschool. he realized that wasnt good for reiji and tried to push him away. so the story does have so deep in it, but other things looked a bit superficial and could have been better explained like their background (family) and also didnt quite get why reiji quit his former school.
