Sign
alright. where do i start? sign has been one of my favorites since it’s release bc it follows a story of a normal and very much in love couple yet it isnt boring. the humor is funny. the art is adorable and just— it’s ADORABLE. i do have a few critics: — things kinda went blank after the arc with byung. because that arc was quite intense and full of drama (and dare i say, mystery), the following season seemed very dry. it would have worked out fine if they had reversed it by making soohwa going to college come first and the byung arc come later bc by doing that it’ll appear as if the story become gradually more interesting instead of being very interesting and becoming stalemate. — in regards to the byung situation, i like the drama but it did seem very melodramatic with how the ending happened. byung was someone who physically harassed everyone around yohan and then just yohan saying “ok” was enough to make him stop? ok fine understandable but the fact that he barely reacted anymore since that ok is kinda wtf? thats just me though. i found the whole thing pretty weak, especially the whole relationship with gyoon and his family. — the second ship was meh. there was a lot more potential me thinks, but again it was executed weakly. i don’t have much issue with the weak execution tbh bc i dont think the author’s intention was to make a strong and intense series but instead a relaxed and cute story — we should have gotten more insight of soohwa and yohan’s life outside their relationship and i think the ppl who did appear and werent involved in their relationship felt kinda MEH as if they were only alive to serve the main couple — i dont think ill be rereading this anytime soon bc i got kinda disappointed with the following season...? but i still loved it nonetheless. its still perfect. i just expected smth more than perfect
Wolf Me Up
OK so the majority of the story will buy majority I mean except for one chapter the couple is ready dating the story is very very fast pace there isn’t really much time for development in the first chapter and find out that one of them already has feelings and then the next chapter dirty they think the best thing is to fast that I couldn’t really enjoy it because I couldn’t get attached to the characters. furthermore I didn’t really find entertainment after they got together before they were together I thought it was super cute it was funny they were dumbasses but after that it was just like super vanilla fluff and that’s not my kind of thing but it’s not a bad series there’s not really anything wrong with it other than just being fast but I don’t think it was trying to be a long series so I can’t fault them for that it’s all right it’s OK
Playmate (Rainy Wata)
OK oh man this is one of the stories that had a lot of potential to become one of my favorites and they have a good idea with the story they had a potentially good dynamic of having this young energetic guy and this older and experienced guy like usually I don’t like shy bottoms but I have some exemptions and I was hoping the story would be one of those exceptions except it isnt it ended up being really boring and pathetic honestly it is too vanilla for my taste and by vanilla I am not referring to the sex being boring because the sex had you know BDSM slight BDSM slight kinks but the relationship in self is what’s boring I am definitely very very disappointed with this one. But I did enjoy all the jealousy scenes that were included I had fun with those I just didn’t enjoy everything else it’s OK just disappointing for me
Kamisama no Uroko
i’m on vol 3 ch 5 !! really cute and the art is so pretty ~~~ it’s the kind that i’ll get bored of after they get together though
Hidoi Otoko (Tenkawa Ai)

Koisuru Ryuu no Shima
ch5 ch1-ch3 reading: its pretty cute! shouldve been longer. i dont rlly like the first couple but theyre ok! i like the second a lot. update ch5: im rlly enjoying the second couple but it’s rlly disappointing bc their story is so interesting but i guess bc of the first couple they had the rush the story and not get into too much detail. nonetheless im still enjoying
Kokoro O Korosu Houhou
it’s very sad because the ending isn’t happy at all, althought that’s what it looks like. the main character falls so hard into depression and develops something akin to stockholm syndrome and loses himself to the thing making him miserable. this is not a happy story and the ending is good, albeit frustrating/a bad end. you think it is, but the cycle continues. this one of those rare bl mangas that doesn’t actually romanticize incest and shows it as being disgusting and psychologically damaging.
Kare no Shousou to Koi ni Tsuite
i forgot what ch i was in lol
To Take An Enemy's Heart
Oh man. I have a lot to say. In the beginning, I had expected to drop this. The artstyle and general vibe reminded me of late 90s - early 2000s yaoi mangas. Which it was actually very similar to. i didn’t even realize this wasn’t a super old manga and a tappytoon series until later on. i carried on, mostly because i adore arabian-esque stories. they often focus on the sultan and their lover. i’m weak for rich semes. anyways. the beginning was pretty weak. the premise is interesting — the pure, real definition of enemies to lovers. not the high school rivalry type but the type where blood has been spilled. there are times where i can’t help but think “man this is stockholm”. it eventually starts getting pretty good, but not enough for me to curl my toes. it’s pretty ok, plot-oriented. its funny that the author thinks i give a shit about the second couple, king and caesar. thankfully, they didn’t really get much screen time. theyre fucking annoying LOL side note: the king looks like a mixture of camio from devils and realist + raichi from dna. idk why HAHA the execution is pretty fucking wack ngl there were a lot of times where i just skimmed or skip a chapter bc it was boring to me. a lot of things should have been explained more. there were also a lot of times where after the big arc has finished that i’d be like “damn rlly wanna drop” until another problem occurs. the thing is, i love their dynamic. prideful, powerful man who does only what he wants meets a soft person who becomes his only joy and motivation of living. i just disliked the way the author portrayed it. the angst and drama itself, however, is a completely different story. it is absolutely excellent and if the rest of the story wasnt so weak in contrast, i wouldve given this five stars. i enjoyed it! maybe i’ll reread it one day, but it isn’t one of those stories where i have the instant urge to relive it. the ending was so soft
