this was… pretty messy haha i mostly skimmed till chapter 7 because the execution was awful. the concept was nice: a bottom alpha and a top omega!! i loved that!! but the way it was handled was terrible and boring. i got interested in chapter 7 because the alpha met his fated pair and i was excited for what’s to come but MAN even this arc was boring just boring boring MID MID the only thing good about this is the smut its pretty hot also fuck the 2nd couple i could care less the omega there was annoying as hell anyways

haaaa… well, it was great. really, it was. i’d argue it’s one of my top 10 best bl read sof all time because it hits every single mark. but, i do have a problem with it and it’s something that taints this manga and why my initial idea of being so excited when writing an after comment turned to this weird negative tone: the ending is so fucking boring and i hate the second couple. borrowing words from my own twitter, “ omg stop mixing the little brother in their lives i could tolerate it before because the scenes w him were short and didnt involve the main couple but now its just taining their story ugh im so pissed fuck and this was going so well too.” they would unnecessarily have them go on double dates and it’s gross and disgusting. why? because the appeal of the main couple is the “misleadingness” of their appearances. meanwhile, the second couple is literally the opposite so why the heck put it in a story with an audience who hates that kind of dynamic? it seriously left a sour taste in my mouth. i was about forgive it since they don’t mention them again for awhile then BAM they have them show up at the end. putting that aside, they get boring. it’s something i have a hard time with: i don’t like reading stories after main conflicts have been resolved. after 52, maybe even before that, the story has been wrapped up. they get stale. while i won’t necessarily blame writing for it, it does go to show how their original appeal as a couple that banters a lot has faded. it’s disappointing. really, it’s great. if you read my twitter thread, i rave about it being a GOATed series. the problem is that it gets dragged out at the end and instead leaves us feeling flat and bored, rather than like we’ve reached a proper conclusion don’t get me wrong, despite me calling it amazing, the plot is not that amazing. it has more story than other webtoons out there lately but it isn’t well-written. there’s many plot-holes and unnecessary information such as the main couple turning out to know one another when they were younger but they never even find out. it has no impact. i’ve already talked about how annoyed i get when people make unnecessary past connections between a couple because more often than not, if it doesn’t direct tie in with the conflict of the series, it just ruins them. sighhhh what a disappointment to have a series i loved so much just leave me feeling annoyed https://twitter.com/hyoojn/status/1522807117316771840?s=21&t=6sebdAnfmqro9XpctrBWAw
