LOL WHAT THE FUCK IS RHIS ??? i vividly remember really liking this during my first read which is why i have it 3 stars but i tried rereading it and FUCK it sucks. the uke is way too fucking annoying. the seme is unreasonable. the third dude is also weird as shit and its just weird as fuck lol garbage

it’s very sad because the ending isn’t happy at all, althought that’s what it looks like. the main character falls so hard into depression and develops something akin to stockholm syndrome and loses himself to the thing making him miserable. this is not a happy story and the ending is good, albeit frustrating/a bad end. you think it is, but the cycle continues. this one of those rare bl mangas that doesn’t actually romanticize incest and shows it as being disgusting and psychologically damaging.

I was not expecting to like this as much as I actually did. I actually really like the characters so much especially the old guy but maybe that’s just my bias speaking but I really did him think that his personality was really good and fun and I feel like if there’s an alternative universe this would’ve been such a cute romantic comedy series which regards to the main character I actually found him super super annoying well that’s super super annoying but I did find him annoying sometimes there were definitely a few things that I think was weak especially the reason as to why the main character hated the old man that wasn’t really cleared up and when it was revealed that the reason for it was because the old man started sincerely liking the main character is the main characters to solve of hating him first week after that I understand why the main character hated him he is an asshole but prior to that it was just us I don’t know I just feel like the MC was very unlikable I don’t know if I’m gonna enjoy rereading this but I enjoyed reading it a lot!!!!!

one of my all time favorites its so fucking good. the plot, the art, the humor, the characters. they aren’t black and white and its just. SO FUCKING GOOD

oh mannnnnn this webtoon is FUCKED UP. it’s not like ogawa chise’s work kind of dark where the art and general atmosphere is creepy but this story’s themes are worse. probably. the ending is more of a pyrrhic victory and pretty open-ended. i definitely wont reread this because its one of those things where once you know the mini plot twists and surprises, you just end up feeling repulsed DEADASS THE MOST TOXIC COUPLE EVER. its rape scene back to back. i hope kyungsoo went to theraphy. idk how he remained somewhat sane after his first trauma. HE BETTER LEAVE LIKE BRO LEAVEEE

holy crap, i’m so happy to have this recommended to me because it is perfect. notes: — on the more fangirl, impulsive side: the seme is absolutely drool-worthy. he’s romantic and dominating, yet cold and sly at the beginning. he’s also old-fashioned type of romantic. absolute dreamboat. the uke is kinda a BAMF and he’s definitely likable (although not extremely memorable, will explain more later) — tbh it was really weird because the seme just suddenly started liking the uke out of nowhere? although their relationship, in my eyes, was well-developed, i thought the seme suddenly going “ive liked u since beforeee” was random and they shouldn’t have done that. — regarding the supernatural aspect: it’s very unclear on how they’re “foxes” and “wolves” and to be honest, it served no purpose at all. they could have just had the characters be normal humans and there would no difference. — there were a lot of bait and hints of a further subplot that the never acted on such as: the deal with the seme’s grandfather. it’s later explained (VERY BRIEFLY) in the extras but it wasn’t really satisfying. it just felt like they rushed it. — continuing on, the overall story is incredible. it’s romantic, heartwarming albeit confusing at times from the occasional lack of information. however, the charactets themselves weren’t really memorable. if they had never met and this was a simple story of a day-to-day life, it would probably be boring. STILL my complaints are just complaints in this case as i superrrr enjoyed the webtoon and didnt feel angry or unsatisfied at the end!!!!!! i wish it was longer tho but ahh a super nice read !!!!! REREAD (Jul 21 '24): My complaints remain the same but my sentiments don't. In my first 2 reads, I hadn't thought of the flaws as a big deal and rated it 5 stars despite it. I seriously have no idea why! This story is so badly written, it's ridiculous. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. Kim Ho and Han Sirang really are so charming. Their relationship is so delicate and watching them grow closer was lovely. I wish the author had forgotten all that nonsense of foxes and wolves and avoided making it so full of drama when its very clear that their strength lies in creating delicate love stories full of uuncertainty. Downed my rating to 4. The story sucks but I really enjoyed myself because of the couple. (P.S the side stories shouldn't have been side. they should have been considered part of the main story because it had the conclusion to kim ho and han sirang's relationship albeit still lacking ofc)
