the story kinda goes “meh!” after awhile since it stops focusing on the main couple and on to the second couple who ON GOD I DO NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT the dialogue goes hard asf as expected of park ji-yeon and it gives MAJOR green creek series vibes fluffy and funny then BOOM angst and drama :,( theres also a side couple who are wlw the nsfw scenes arent vague or censored or whatever its pretty good but bc its rlly plot oriented u dont rlly think about it

oh fuck man i have a bit to say. i first read this about early last year and was OBSESSED with the concept. since the start, i already knew there was something that love, the mc, was hiding and that something being his ability to fight. it’s been hinted a lot. however, i remember being really REALLY bored and annoyed after the reveal was made. this is how it goes: i became so enthusiastic because love went badass mode. that was cool. i also got to learn love’s past. BUT i got so fucking annoyed when peach found out and love ran away. its so so so annoying and makes me wanna beat the shit out of love. the subplot between king and cherry was also horrible. it’s so unlikable and makes me want to puke with how disgusting and boring they are. ugh. king was an absolutely useless character who only appears when it’s convenient. honestly, a lot of the characters are boring. the only exception is love. peach’s just hot and cool and brooding. this wasn’t really a bl manga but more of action. in the beginning, it was SOOOOO incredibly promising and the hints of love’s true ability was what made me continue reading but now that i’m reading it for the second time i realized how shitty this series is. the relationship between love and peach is SO flat and weak. peach falls in love at first sight for love because he says a few sweet words and the author does NOTHING to expand their relationship. they just literally wrote down that “eventually peach confessed and they started dating” literally. this would’ve been fine if she had added more romantic and plot-relevant scenes that affect their relationship after but NOOOOOO the thing is— this isn’t really a bad webtoon. the characters suck. the relationships are weak. but it has (or had) potential and it worked at first read. it is, however, a horrible BL webtoon. once you get over the hype for love’s true skills as a fighter and finish the scene when peach “finds out”, you start losing interest RAPIDLY never gonna reread it sucks

few notes: — i adored this webtoon when i first read it. it’s one of those series where once you read it, it’ll never blow you away as much after. — the uke, dg, is pretty pathetic. he’s a pushover and he doesn’t have much personality other than admiring alex. the second hand embarrassment is real but that’s not what i mind: it’s that he’s a genuinely boring character alone. several times during my reread, i got irked but how pushy he was about things and the way he acted. so irritating. but, in my first read i didn’t mind as much (or rather i was too caught up in the angst to really pay a closer attention) — the ending/last chapter was incredible, well. that’s maybe too much but it was good and tugged at my heartstrings and i even teared up. it’s so cute. i’ve never been so affected by a webtoon’s ending. it’s not that it’s sad. but it’s because [spoiler] alex ceases to exist. jiwon abandons his job to live as himself and it’s just- read it. — like i said earlier, you really would lose the amazement and adoration for the series aftwr a reread or two (more like you’ll be less impressed which albeit understandable, there are multiple webtoons and mangas out there that ive reread multiple times and still enjoyed always *cough* ameiro paradox *cough*). but still, it’s a rollercoaster and i love it so much! definitely, probably, won’t reread it unless it’s been 10 years lolol

CURRENTLY ON CH 53 warning; this depicts rape explicitly, and not in a romanticized fashion. it made me feel like shit. to start with: i really had different expectations for this. i didnt think it was gonna be this mature and dark and i guess because my expectations were just very different, i didn’t enjoy it so much when it came to the angsty s parts. the thing is, everyone is so attractive but thats honestly the only thing that really keeps me attached. if they looked otherwise, i probably will rate this really low. the storytelling is good! you can feel the author’s passion but i just... it’s different. because expectations suck. OK update I am writing this from the future and buy the future and after I wrote my initial comment The thing is this series is beautifully written it’s seamless makes sense and it feels like a movie and I love that the only thing that he didn’t like is that it was against my expectations but honestly it was more of me being upset by that than me actually thinking that the series sucks because it doesn’t it’s good the art is wonderful I was talking shit When I said that other than that I wouldn’t like it I wouldn’t say it’s in my favorites though, But I will say that it is one of the best written and most passion filled BL series in a while.

v3c4 - i adore this story so much!!! it’s perfect. ahhh the seme is seriously so lucky.... pero kung meron akong reklamo, yun ang sa ending. pagkatapos nilang maging couple, naging sobrang vanilla na sila at nawala na yung traces of oedipus complex ng uke at nakakainis dahil isa yun sa mga charm ng story. balita daw ay magkakaroon ng bagong season this 2020

i held of reading this for a looooong time because my judgmental ass thought it was gonna be exaggeratedly ugly mc falls in love with a king prince charming handsome guy who’s like “no1!!1 who cares about what they think!1!1!” i really like this story and it’s practically perfect— until the last couple of chapters. i think the story with ayeon was so messily done and made his character kinda one-dimensional. it was so sudden and i’m sure most readers (including me) fell for him but then the ending with him went flat. the main couple is really good!!!!!!!! no complains there. sure i got frustrated at times but its mostly bc i wanted them to be happy, not bc of shitty writing. i did not give a single rat ass about the other couples. i didnt bother reading the filler couple and the second couple was just unnecessary and boring

LOL WHAT THE FUCK IS RHIS ??? i vividly remember really liking this during my first read which is why i have it 3 stars but i tried rereading it and FUCK it sucks. the uke is way too fucking annoying. the seme is unreasonable. the third dude is also weird as shit and its just weird as fuck lol garbage

one of my all time favorites its so fucking good. the plot, the art, the humor, the characters. they aren’t black and white and its just. SO FUCKING GOOD

the main couple is absolutely annoying and unbearable. they aren’t memorable at all. i continued reading because i was curious on how the story was going to go and it got a bit interesting when the mc’s soulmate/fated pair appeared and caused a bit of trouble but it was STILL SO SHIT incredibly bad execution go change careers you stupid fuck the only thing i like is the second couple and even then rhe author did a shit job chapters w the second pair: 21, 28, 30, 32 + side stories 1
