plot wise this had just had so much potential but it didn’t execute what it could’ve been it’s a very very weak story wise the characters were also very cookie-cutter and I didn’t like it NSFW THO IS DAMN GOOD

should have had more drama

this was disappointing tbh i was rlly interested bc the author did an incredible job in slowly creating a tense atmosphere. i was always 40/60 on whether or not the seme was some psycho with issues that’d imprison the uke— turns out he is. GREAT. i love that. we stan freaks on here. but then the author handled it badly since then ????? it was taken so lightly and didn’t have an impact in any way. there wasn’t any point to the seme locking up the uke. the biggest disappointment ever

tbh i kinda have mixed feelings about it shhcjdjsjw bc i LOVE LOVE loooove the concept of childhood friends being an idiot couple and struggling to deal with the idea that one day they won’t be together anymore but the execution was terrible. the chapters are pretty short so it’s always a whiplash when the first half is all happy memories and the other half is the sad present but bc it’s split in half i didnt really get a moment to really mourn and feel for the characters. the characters themselves arent all that interesting and they tried to push a sad tragic backstory for them but it really didn’t work. it felt like a joke.

it isnt bad but it just isnt it for me. the story is good and it’s nice to see a power bottom + service top but that shit aint for me LMAO

tbh this sucks ????? the bullying was stupid the characters werent all that memorable the constant misunderstandings became annoying the only reason i kept reading was bc i was curious as to why the bullying happened and if the trauma of the past haunts them (it doesnt rlly)

OK oh man this is one of the stories that had a lot of potential to become one of my favorites and they have a good idea with the story they had a potentially good dynamic of having this young energetic guy and this older and experienced guy like usually I don’t like shy bottoms but I have some exemptions and I was hoping the story would be one of those exceptions except it isnt it ended up being really boring and pathetic honestly it is too vanilla for my taste and by vanilla I am not referring to the sex being boring because the sex had you know BDSM slight BDSM slight kinks but the relationship in self is what’s boring I am definitely very very disappointed with this one. But I did enjoy all the jealousy scenes that were included I had fun with those I just didn’t enjoy everything else it’s OK just disappointing for me
