Left off at chap 70

I want to say it was cute, but in the end it wasn't. They are attracted to each other, and then show difference for the sake of his job, but after the temp job is over, they have freedom to continue, and that's exactly what they do. In fact, that's pretty much the whole of the story. A few cookie crumbs to the guy who tries to put the brakes on briefly for her sake, but she convinces him pretty quickly. It's sad when the cumulation of a cute story is soley 'now they can get in bed'. Not only does it NOT bode well for their future marriages (based on RL statistics), but beyond the fact they waited till there were no job complications, you have no real indication long term commitment, so all your really left with is a 'The End?'

I'm sad BBV (Bed Before Vows) was a required plot device, but other than that, I have to admit it was a sweet, light hearted story about growing up and realizing you are the author of your own story, and you can change. And I also like the final 'justice' page. It wrapped it up nicely.

ONE SHOT

It’s cute. Both leads are strong, but have their vulnerabilities and all the characters around them are pushing them in the right direction. Sadly, BBV (Bed Before Vows) was a part of that direction when this story really didn’t need it. Other than that, the story was fun and enjoyable.
