One shot - After. His parents divorce, Umi's crush Rikou moves next door along with his father and little brother Sora who treats Umi as a big sister. This means Umi gets to see a lot of Rikou, but she wishes he would see her differently. But when Sora's birthday comes around and little Sora wants to see his mother, Rikou's indifference seems unforgivable. Does he really not care? Can Umi let Sora's birthday wish go unanswered?

5 chaps - I liked the manga story enough I actually went looking for the novel to see how they compared because with movies, at least, the book is usually better than the film. Not in this case. I like the manga adaption better.
