Due to the authors time constraints, this story bounced back and forth between gorgeous digital paintings and rough black and white drafts, but it was still enjoyable. I especially appreciated that when opportunity/obligation demanded this title be dropped prematurely, that the author put a proper end on it rather than leaving it unfinished with the ambiguous hope of maybe returning later.

It was a well drawn, well told story up until we got a bed instead of a wedding. I gave it a 4 because it didn't let me down until, literally, the last few pages, but I would have loved it more if he had arranged for her to be brought to the chapel instead of the cottage.

Includes part 1 & 2. The only thing that was distasteful about this story was the heroine's past. Such should not exist, even in the pages of fiction, but - tragically- it does. That said, she is also an example that strength to overcome and find happiness can be found even after such a tragedy, and I believe that can be found in reality also. This was quite a tale and I'm glad it was given the length to spin it well. On top of that, the art was excellent.

So, he starts out as a prejudiced jerk, then comes the marriage of convivence for the baby's sake, they get closer, and then they both act like jerks and split. But thankfully the FL has the intelligence and humility to think things over, recognize her mistakes and come back, because the ML's pride was overruling his common sense. The art was great and they seem like a well grounded couple once they get straightened out. Sadly, the heroine initially engaged in some 'off-screen' BBV (Bed Before Vows) with the hero's brother so this is a BBV pregnancy story at it root.
