I just can’t get into stories based around BBV (Bed Before Vows), especially deliberate BBV. RL statistics show sex before marriage puts the marriages at a higher risk of failing. It shouldn’t be encouraged when these same statistics show waiting til after the vows produce longer lasting marriages, and isn’t that the goal of a romance? Why promote a behavior that is actually detrimental to the long term goal?
