That twist though didn't see that one coming. The two different translations are confusing because whole conversations are completely different in one vs the other. Example: in one translation they insinuated that they'll be a seke couple, but in the other translation they didn't. Anyway, this was cute and surprisingly story packed for 4 chapters without feeling rushed. That is an impressive feat for authors these days. I think there is an anime adaptation for this because I've seen clips of a few scenes. I think it's because I'm a long time reader of BL, but I wasn't blown away by this one. It's the whole "been there, done that", but in terms of what I've read. I think I'll enjoy the anime even more though, so I'm looking forward to watching it. Note: I don't think this'll be a reread for me. There is a sequel/continuation! "HARUKAZE NO ETRANGER"

I ended up liking this way more than I thought I would. I was thoroughly engaged, laughed a lot, and my heart even fluttered a few times, lol. I really like Mayu-kun! Also Shouta's backstory in highschool with his first love was really unique compared to others I've read. I loved how his friend/first love responded, actually considering it sincerely. Shouta ended up breaking his own heart and mine along with it. I literally muttered "oh my god that's so tragic." There were so many possibilities and he just shut it all down in fear of what could go wrong, that just really hit home for me personally. Mayu-kun ended up being perfect for him though. Mayu-kun wouldn't allow Shouta to shut it down based on fear. He taught Shouta that it was okay to love and to be loved, and the courage to face it was more important than the fear. I'm getting very philosophical over this one lol. I was high key crushing on Mayu though. He was smooth asf and had no business being that smooth I think I could reread this again in the future.
