One of the few fucked up ones that I actually like. Don't ask why, I don't even know. It's just the right mix of fucked up with a dash of obsessive love. There are many things I hate about it, but also many things I like. The way it ended, as in the flow, wasn't that smooth. Although, it may just seem that way because the translations weren't the best in the last few chapters. Idk, the end was kind of a mess. The entire arc with Eno is a chaotic mess and took away from the whole story. It was annoying asf. I liked seeing them grown up in the last chapter, it felt out of place, but it was interesting to see how their character designs developed.
The ending could have been better, but overall, I consider this to be an iconic yaoi.
The first & only Caste-themed one I've read so far. What I liked most about this yaoi was the author's ability to convey the character's feelings through subtle facial expressions and actions. It was interesting to see how someone could be awful to the person they like in order to protect them. I've never seen it taken to this level before, in terms of how awful they had to be to the one they like. Terrible things happen in this manga, but it was worth the read, and it will be remembered.
