One of the few fucked up ones that I actually like. Don't ask why, I don't even know. It's just the right mix of fucked up with a dash of obsessive love. There are many things I hate about it, but also many things I like. The way it ended, as in the flow, wasn't that smooth. Although, it may just seem that way because the translations weren't the best in the last few chapters. Idk, the end was kind of a mess. The entire arc with Eno is a chaotic mess and took away from the whole story. It was annoying asf. I liked seeing them grown up in the last chapter, it felt out of place, but it was interesting to see how their character designs developed. The ending could have been better, but overall, I consider this to be an iconic yaoi. The first & only Caste-themed one I've read so far. What I liked most about this yaoi was the author's ability to convey the character's feelings through subtle facial expressions and actions. It was interesting to see how someone could be awful to the person they like in order to protect them. I've never seen it taken to this level before, in terms of how awful they had to be to the one they like. Terrible things happen in this manga, but it was worth the read, and it will be remembered.

It's like.... so interesting??? They're so interesting??? I didn't know how to feel about what was going on. My stance kept changing. It was more complex than I expected it to be?? In the end, after everything that happened, they could only really be with each other. You still want the uke to suffer and for the seme to heal, but they can't, and their only real form of release is each other. It's just kinda one of those situations where you don't have to agree with something to accept it. It's bittersweet, but it is what it is. Fr interesting, especially all of the different opinions on it in the comments. They're so divided. In a way, I guess this was more psychological than anything. I just kept trying to understand them both psychologically. I doubt that I'll be rereading this in the future. I found the uke oddly alluring tho??? Like tf??? Is there a side to me that I don't know yet wtf
