It's basically a oneshot that was dragged out for five chapters instead of just one.

IT TAKES TOO LONG TO PROGRESS OH. MY. GOD. I'm just irritated, I'm not finishing this. It takes 71 chapters for them to even kiss but they don't get together until it reaches the 100s and even then THEY BARELY SHOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP. This should be called "They are an idol group" instead because there is more emphasis on that than the actual "couple". I feel like I wasted hours (probably because I did) The author is not bad, they just should've left the "bl" aspect out completely because it's not there enough, especially for it being so freaking long.

I love that you get to watch them grow up together and see how their relationship continues to evolve over time. *Spoilers* I also love that it went from Shounen ai to Yaoi. In the beginning, it was a focus on their familial relationship and the negative tension between them. Then the way they came to understand each other and fell in love with one another. Finally, when all was mutual, BAM, it's full on yaoi smut. Shounen ai went poof. I liked the switch but I know a lot of readers in the comments were taken aback since it went on as a Shounen ai for a long time. Idk I liked the way they did that though. The genre matured along with the characters, it seemed fitting to me Update: AHHHHH MY BABIEZ ARE GONNA GET MARRIED EEEEEEEEE I usually don't care about marriage & don't even want it for myself but this makes me so happyyyyyy. I've been reading this for so long! I started reading this in high school! I graduated high school when they did, I attended college when they did, & I got my first job at the same time as them! This realization is crazy!! lmao I'm actually emotional. The moment Haebom proposed I teared up a little. It made me realize that I've been living my life while watching them live theirs and I feel for them like they're real people. They're not even real but I feel so happy for them awww Moments like these make you realize just how precious a long-running manga/manhwa can be

WOW. Totally not what I expected... Also, the cross-dressing thing only happened twice in the whole manga, I don't think it really needed to be mentioned because the plot had nothing to do with it. But WOW! This manga was an emotional roller coaster! So sad, I cried a bit. I felt heartbroken for him. Also, I LOVE THAT THE AUTHOR PROPERLY SHOWED MORE THAN ONE RELATIONSHIP THAT THE UKE HAD! FINALLY! His ex (present-day) is a despicable person that I truly wish will die, but their past showed how kind-hearted he used to be, and how he suddenly became twisted. BUT IT WAS ALL THAT CEO'S FAULT! EVERYTHING! EVERYONE'S PAIN IN THIS ENTIRE MANGA WAS BECAUSE OF THAT ONE SINGLE INCIDENT WITH THAT MOTHERF***ING CEO!!! THE UKE AND HIS EX WOULD'VE BECOME SOME CUTE COUPLE OR SOMETHING BUT INSTEAD EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE GOT F**KED UP IN THE HEAD. At least the uke ended up with the seme in the end though. They should be together. (I can't help but feel bad for how fucked up the ex was though, but I still wish him death) This manga is a true example of "It gets better as you read". I almost put this in my "ones to remember" list but the ending wasn't really what I hoped for so I'm not going to, I feel kind of unsatisfied for some reason idk. (might be because none of the people I wanted dead are dead? idk...ahem) Someone really needs to fix that description and switch up the tags for this manga because this manga is SO much more than what that petty description makes it out to be.

Overall, I liked it. However, it was kind of irritating because it felt like a few scenes or chapters were left out and some parts of the story were dismissed in a way? Like instead of a bad transition, there was none, and it felt like there was a random jump forward. Idk if that makes sense. I felt like the uke's sudden ability to kiss the seme came out of nowhere too. This manga was already slow-paced, but to suddenly speed it up like that kind of ruined what I was waiting for that whole time. I almost like the side pairing more, that seme is hawttt thoughhh. I'm not sure if the "mistakes" were by the actual author or if it was by the person who edited the pages to put on mangago that messed it up and/or left them out. I'm just going to rate it 4 stars. It was pretty good and it wasn't average so I don't feel right giving it a 3. ALSO!!! THIS SHOULD HAVE AN ANIMAL DEATH WARNING! I FREAKING SOBBED, IT WAS NOT OKAY TO SHOW THE LIFELESS BODY, IT WAS NOT OKAY. IF THERE CAN BE RAPE SCENE WARNINGS IN THESE THINGS, THERE CAN BE FREAKING DEATH WARNINGS TOO. IDGAF ABOUT HUMAN DEATHS BUT THAT SCENE WITH THE DOG WAS WAY TOO REAL AND THAT BIRD TOO. SERIOUSLY WTF. I'm not okay

The ending was surprising. This was heartbreaking in a new way for me. His relationship with Hyunjin was such a good relationship. The new little brother (step-brother) cliche was introduced and the little bro liked him but they didn't end up together in the end?! They always end up together in yaoi, that's why it was surprising. There was the tension between the step brother and the boyfriend but they never showed the mc having feelings for his little bro. This was kind of refreshing because it was the opposite of the usual yaoi cliche that I'm used to. At the same time, I'm also pretty disappointed. I'm not sure what the point of this story was supposed to be?? Maybe that their relationship was strong enough that even a new and sweet step brother couldn't come between them? But in the whole mess that was created by Hyunjin due to his jealousy and possessiveness, it showed how manipulative and selfish he can become. He purposely destroyed the mc's comfort of being with his stepbrother (even tho the brother NEVER had the intention of confessing or doing anything). In doing so, the mc was forced to separate from his stepbrother and family. The boyfriend purposely made it so he was the mc's main source of comfort, so they'd live together. I'm all for possessive, almost on the verge of obsession, types of seme. However, if they are so selfish that they will destroy their uke's other source of comfort, F*ck him. That part irritated me.

*Spoilers* This has me fucked up, to be more precise, my judgment has been fucked up. The entire time I was constantly going back and forth between "Oh shit he's crazy you're going to get murdered omg!!" to "Aw he's so cute like a possessive puppy lover, maybe just train him to not act like a psychopath??" Like wtf?! He was scary asf in the beginning, none of what he did is okay at all! It was revealed that he wasn't the one that originally started it but still!! Holy f*ck! I'm still so uncomfortable and freaked out about the seme almost castrating himmmmm omgggg I really can't. I never sensed so much legit irl danger when I was only reading a manga. I literally panicked and let out a little scream. I'm so happy he didn't actually do it but I can't get over the fact that he was actually going to do that and the uke seems to have completely forgotten that part??!!! Okay, all that aside, I gave this a 4 because this went in a few directions that I didn't expect it to go. Also, I really love the uke's character design, etc. I was going to give it 3 stars but after thinking about how immersed I got while reading it, being scared and then happy for the uke, I decided to give it a 4 because this author is pretty good at getting your attention.
