Complete | Lee Aru,이아루 | 2016 released

It was REALLY good in the beginning like it would've gone down as one of my faves possibly maybe, but then it started being less and less realistic and predictable. It lost me. Its like the original story is slightly lost in all the sex buddy madness. Don't get me wrong love the yaoi but don't ditch the story/plot pleeease. If theres no consistent plot it just becomes another yaoi to forget about

Lover Boy

Complete | Zec,제크 | 2016 released

This manga perfectly portrays the confusing, conflicted, frustrated, & anxious feelings that come with being in a relationship. I related to Jaeha a lot. He couldn't even understand what he truly felt and lied to himself and thought it was the truth. It also portrayed the feeling of suffocating and the pressure of trying to be happy. Also, the sex scenes were so good wow. I'm only giving it 3 stars simply because I wasn't as emotionally invested in it as I've been in other manga. However, the emotions it portrays is 5 stars. Definitely tugs at the heartstrings more than once.

This had sooo many different things going on. It seemed like the writing style kept changing too (meaning the type of dialogue/impressions used). It was interesting to see what each character was like at different points in their lives. I for one actually liked the side couples although others seemed to think otherwise. The yuri was a surprise for sure but it was refreshing and I liked it. At one point I forgot that a yaoi scene I was thinking about was from this manga, because of the fact that things were always changing between characters, etc. I'm not saying that this manga tried to tackle too much, it just really does provide a lot of information. I kind of appreciate the author for bothering to put all of this together, they seemed to really care about portraying everything they could.

Wow. I don't know entirely what to say. I think this manga perfectly portrays how many sides there are to everyone. It shows how everything can be messed up just because of one mistake, it affects so much more than what you realize. This manga also showed over and over how devastating things can turn out just by not telling people how you feel or explaining things better. It shows how you have to be careful of your actions and exactly what you say. This manga...showed so many sides of each person making you feel differently about them every time you found out something else about them and their life. The ending was so sad I cried. So many emotions were given to me by this manga. There are things in here even I myself still have trouble understanding, the emotions I mean. It shows how hard it is to comprehend your own emotions and it just also happened to include emotions I have felt before and couldn't understand at the time. It also introduced ways of thinking, ways of feeling, and ways of interpreting things differently. This manga was definitely worth a read. It was both refreshing for me personally and downright heartbreaking at the same time. I've always hated how people portray "mental illness" and frankly I hate when I even hear those words. People always blow things off. "well, there were mentally unstable that's why they did it". IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE. IT'S NOT JUST THAT PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I HATE THE LABEL I REALLY DO. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE HURT AND CONFUSED AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACT OR UNDERSTAND. THEIR ACTIONS ARE UNPREDICTABLE BECAUSE OF IT BUT THEY AREN'T CRAZY, THEY ARE THE SAME AS US BUT EVERYTHING INSIDE THEM IS JUMBLED & TANGLED UP. YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW OR WHY THEY THINK AND ACT THE WAY THEY DO. I HATE THE LABEL "CRAZY" "MENTALLY ILL/UNSTABLE" THEY ARE STILL PEOPLE. THEY ARE A MESS AND POSSIBLY UNREPAIRABLE BUT STILL, PEOPLE AND STILL HAVE EMOTIONS. IT IS NOT RIGHT TO DISMISS EVERYTHING THEY FEEL, EVERYTHING THEY'VE GONE THROUGH IN LIFE, AND EVERYTHING THEY MIGHT'VE DONE AS "CRAZY". *sigh* So yeah, this manga made me feel many things and I am very happy I gave it a chance. This mangaka is incredibly amazing. I can't though, the ending hurts I still wanna cry WHYYYYYY *sobs intensify* (I can't believe I basically read like 74 chapters in a day holy sh*t) I need a better life...

I loved the plot a lot at first. I love witches so it was natural that I fell for the concept. The manga was good and I found EL/Noah to be enchanting both as a female and as a male. His character design is beautiful. I love that just by looking at his beauty, you really do get that feeling of being bewitched. (Well at least I do) I'm not quite sure what it is about the manga though. I loved it at first but right now I don't seem to feel the same way. I'm not sure exactly where it lost me. I realized that they started focusing too much on sex and that some of my favorite qualities of characters somehow disappeared. I don't know it if was an attempt at character development or the author didn't have a complete handle on the personalities of some of their characters (The author ending up mentioning that they changed some characters personalities towards the end so my second guess was right) ... Maybe I started liking it less because all the interesting things that made me like it ceased and the manga started showing them as totally infatuated with each other, while the rest of the story was just them running away from and then back to each other over & over. Well, more like one kept running away then ends up back anyways. The thing that probably bothered me the most was the EXPLANATION OF THEIR PAST WHEN THEY WERE KIDS. IT WASN'T ACTUALLY ELABORATED ON ENTIRELY. All we got was that prince Ryan was around the forest and a witch happened upon him. Then it shows him telling EL to come with him but EL refuses and that upsets him. THERE WERE NO DETAILS. I MEAN, WAS THERE EVEN A POINT IN CREATING A "PAST" FOR THEM? THE STORY IS THE SAME WHETHER YOU INCLUDE IT OR NOT. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IT MADE WAS THAT RYAN KNEW EL'S REAL NAME. THAT'S LITERALLY ALL IT GAVE US THAT WAS EXTRA INFORMATION. I can't believe I read all 80 chapters in one sitting... at least I continued despite liking it lesser as I read. Another thing was, what was the point of having 8 brothers when you don't include them all in the plot? Also, he had a sister (one of the twins to be exact) The intro to the manga didn't mention a sister at all. It started becoming more and more apparent to me as I was reading this, the author was adding and changing things as they went along... I don't mind that writing method but it's not good to do that if it doesn't correlate with previously said things and character "development" comes across as unnatural.
