I loved this! It had a unique plot. It was similar to some things I've read concept-wise but it also had things I've never seen before in the plot as well. I loved iiiit. I really enjoyed this so much. The story is so nice :3 I never use this ":3" anymore but I couldn't think of any other emoji that could express my contentment. I'm gonna add this to my Remember List. The only reason that I didn't rate this a 5 star or add this to my favorites is because I wish it was longer and that it expanded more on their relationship afterward. Also, although I loved this so much, it wasn't something SO unique that I was amazed. Nonetheless, I will say it again! I loved it! I almost rated it 5 stars despite all that~ Simply because I feel so nice after reading it :3 I stayed interested in the story the whole time. That was probably the most absorbed I've been in a manga in a long time~ How nice~

I feel like I'm giving this a 4 star solely because of how much I love Minhoon's character design. I LOVE his character design. To be honest, if it wasn't for how much I loved him, I probably would've dropped this. The plot was good and the supporting characters' designs, personalities, and progressions were all there. That is something you're not always lucky in receiving these days. However, at some point I started to become bored with the plot. Also, Minhoon's character type changed a little bit at some point and it really bothered me. I don't mean in a progressive way, more like the author just lost what his original aura came across as in the beginning. The complex relationships and personalities seemed to lose their way as the story continued on. The entire story went from something I was considering to be one of my favorites to "meh, I've lost my interest" by the end. I got so tired of reading the dialogue that I was skimming through chapter after chapter as well. Also, something else that bothered me was that the reactions and circumstances in the beginning were realistic, but towards the middle and the end they become not so likely. It became quite obvious that many things that occurred only did so for plot progression and not what would actually be realistic. Overall, I love the concept and how all of the characters were originally portrayed. However, it lost me when it continued to stretch out the story, started using unrealistic outcomes, changed how Minhoon came across, etc. "Inconsistency" is more of the word I am looking for. I also remember finding it hard to read it in the very beginning due to choppiness and what not. It is apparent that this author must be new to the scene. They are very very talented as a newbie though, much better than most of the experienced authors I follow. They just need a little bit more work.

This had so much more potential than that...

Tale of the Yellow Dragon

Complete | Brothers Without A Tomorrow | 2000 released

I loved this so much for the majority of it. It was about to be one of my all-time favorites. I know I've always preferred endings that were realistic in some kind of way but NOT THIS WAY. My heart is broken, I almost started crying. I loved this story so much that I was hoping the ending would be joyful but it was bittersweet. So bittersweet that it's just sad, more sadness than beauty. I wish it ended differently and didn't end so suddenly. However, I really love the story, the world, and characters that the author created. This was a very good read, up until that ending. No, I'm just going to pretend it didn't happen. I'm going to pretend that it ended just the way I wanted it to. I don't think this is a manga I'll reread again in the future, at least not all the way. I'll probably stop reading before I reach the last few chapters, that'd be best I think. Yup, again, I'm going to pretend it ended the way I wanted it to.

I hate when relationships start with rape like it's some kind of normal occurrence. I would've rated it lower just because of that but I have a soft spot for Human/Animal Hybrid BL so I gave it a 3 anyway. Tbh I don't recommend this manga tho . The brother's story "Yokujou" is better AND more consensual

Yokujou (IWAMOTO Kaoru)

It's better than Hatsujou but it's still not really something I'd recommend
