The focus of the plot was more about the struggle of being gay in society,etc. I liked it a lot. It was different, and he didn't end up with the initial first guy (Kirino) like they usually do, AND KIRINO'S ENDING WAS TOTALLY UNEXPECTED. I liked the little twists (normally I see them all coming). I also found myself feeling their pain/struggle and even gasped a little at some parts they had to go through. None of it was extreme or gruesome, but what made it hard was that it was so realistic, things that would actually happen, things that do happen. Very good plot, worth the read.
