This is surprisingly wholesome. New healthier partner swoops in to replace the old toxic one. That's one of the best wholesome tropes, though it's usually psychological trauma partner story first, THEN the sweet wholesome partner. I love stories where characters learn to love themselves and see that they do have worth ️ some people just need that extra love from someone else to get a start. I sound very mushy rn, when I'm usually cringing at this kind of talk. The comments on this manga were just pissing me off with the victim blaming though

Please They are so precious ️ This conflict is such a trope and I know how it'll end every time because of that, but it still annoys me everytime. ugh Shima's reaction was breaking my heart fr! I was so happy with how it was resolved though. Oh my heart, it was so precious. I love their chemistry. I love them. I'll probably read this again in the future. It's a good pick me up read, aside from the conflict, but there obvious love for each other makes it all worthwhile. It's been a minute since I felt the fan girl moe ️ ugh the extent of their love is precious. I don't want love if it's not like theirs. Honestly though, for a relationship of 2 years, their communication really sucked. Do better... just so better.

This felt so nostalgic. I've read stories similar to this before, and it still breaks my heart every damn time. It's so horribly bittersweet.
