When you start reading (chapters 1-5) it is constantly said that Elise used to be a spoiled girl who got everything she wanted. But after getting herself and her family killed, she reincarnates in our present earth. Present earth Elise is an orphan who becomes a surgeon and dies in an airplane crash. After she dies she gets reincarnated as her past self. Elise still has all of her present memories intact and she knows about all the events that happened while she was her spoiled self. Because she was reincarnated she tries to become a surgeon (her job and what she loved to do on eath) instead of empress. Yes, that is literally all the info we get on chapters 1-5, and I love it. Just in those five chapters, we get so much character development from Elise. Of course, she has to face other problems, but you need to read to find out. Also, just for being a surgeon, it is already so unique. I don't see many of the reincarnation story people being surgeons in their past lives, nor continuing their present earth's job in the new world they were reincarnated in. Really do recommend it.
The only downside is that some-parts were elongated way to much, however you can ignore that and the story and characters would still stand. I do recommend :)
