Theory from the first 5 chapters (potential spoilers??): Judging from the title and the actions of the childhood friend, I think he came from the future. Him saying "marry me or die" and the sketchy vibes the fiancé was giving in ch 3 makes me think that the fiance killed the fl in the previous timeline (or at least caused her death in some way, even if it was negligence) and the childhood friend came back to save her by having her not marry her fiancé. I don't think the childhood friend loves her, I think he just wants to save her. Idk we'll see, the story is pretty good so far anyways ¯⁠⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

One thing I've learned is that the more a comic makes me cry, the higher the rating gets. Needless to say, I sobbed
