Hands down favourite manga and anime. I don't know why, I've just loved it. Its style, apparel and plot. And it may be a rather long manga but I feel like it doesn't drag on like other manga in the hundreds; Naruto, Fairytail, etc.
It has a continuous flow with character developement and the arcs actually effect it, no major fillers or backstory that drags on too long. But like every manga it does have its slow points and fast points.
Magi's characters timeskips also aren't pointless and just randomly chucked in there; the final arc is portrayed well. The actual characters age and their mentalities and positions change and technology booms. Sadly this may be the last arc of the story and I know I'm going to cry when this ends.
But maybe I'm bias.
