The art is phenomenal I really enjoy this mangaka’s art concept. Very beautiful. Lol the first story the uke was really dopey lol but in a funny and cute way not an annoying way. That food though!!?? THROW THAT SHIT AWAY. You gone hurt yourself tryna stomach that nasty shit! Just throw it all away!
Anyway...Kens story I really couldn’t get into. I understand he’s changed and regrets what he did and this isolated himself and tried to convince himself that he did not deserve love. Which I can respect. But it still in no way justified his actions for me. Nothing ever will. So what his work was hard and the people with him scorned him and smacked him. He never should have let it get to the point where he could hit his partner and “feel better.” That shit just ain’t right. Had it happened the one time and he didn’t want it to happen again he should have just left him and called it quits. Then try being alone for a while. Clearing your head. Quitting your job. Not letting it get to the point where you hate yourself and the way you act with your partner. All that could have been avoided. I’m so glad he found his one and only though because it really does take true and strong love in order to heal wounds and make you better. I’m glad he was able to get better and break down and finally become vulnerable again. He owed it to his partner but more importantly to himself. You are worthy, you made shit decisions, but you need to get back out there and better yourself. Hopefully Ken is better now and does not repeat what happened in the past. I wish them both the best of luck (as if they’re real). But that’s what I love about this mangaka she makes her characters SO RELATABLE. They are real characters that we resonate with and support or hate and want them to grow and move on and find love and be loved. It’s amazing. I want to know these people even though it’s all fiction. Amazing work mangaka, you did that shit.
