I actually feel more sympathetic than disgusted. I mean it is gross but they're both broken souls who look like they're both deteriorating. The father is blind from a possible war injury and the daughter looks to be starving and hates her job but it's all she knows. It feels bittersweet that they're reunited because they can't be a proper family now. :(
