My Purrfect Boss!
Just a few chapters in but this is so corny nnnn maybe it gets better but for now stalling reading. Ok so it didn't get any less corny LMAO! It's just not to my taste, maybe a little more cringe and bland than I can handle. It was boring and vapid for me, but I can see why others would like it. It's light and entertaining, with no real drama and lots of smut and cute moments between the couple. The main couple were sweet together and had lots of sexy times with full consent, which was good. The humor is light hearted and the story doesn't really take itself seriously or try to be more than it is, which works for it. Seme is typical puppy, naïve and dumb and affectionate, while uke is a typical cat, off-standish at first but warms up later. Seme was really too silly for me to handle at first and I found myself cringing, but once I got used to him he became more entertaining. Typical bad guy ex who was very forceful with uke, but luckily he didn't cause too many annoying misunderstandings as they cleared it up between them right away, and seme thankfully didn't let him get too much in his head (thank god for honest minded dummies). Attempted rape and implied past of gangbang led by the ex. It's a good basic story with all the tropes for anyone getting into yaoi and looking for something smuttier. Too bland for me but it was a quick and easy read at least.

Run Away, Assistant Manager Ha!
50+ Loved it! Very affectionate couple with a puppy like seme and a shy sweet uke. Started as sex friends but they were affectionate from the beginning and it was nice to see them discover their feelings, tho they had an instant connection. Side drama about the workplace, but really enjoyed how it showed uke’s growth of character in that aspect.
