The Pizza Delivery Man and The Gold Palace
50+ 53: I absolutely adore this. It's refreshing and sweet and melancholy. Beautiful art and characters with some depth. Uke that has social anxiety or rather in public spaces, and seme that is used to giving up what he wants. Sweet seme and tough uke where it could have been reversed. Also rich and poor trope where the uke dotes on the seme. Both are quite thoughtful and considerate, while the uke is more straightforward in initiating at first, the seme becomes quite affectionate as well. Very wholesome couple with a good build up of the relationship in the first half, and a nice blend of affection and smut in the second.
Fate Makes No Mistakes
110+ 108: and incredible story with top tier writing and world building. Absolutely one of my new favorites as I knew it would be. Two main couples and I love them both, one is more sweet and one is more bittersweet with painful history. Reminds me a bit of Wolf in the House. First couple is sweeter and cute, with a fluffy lil silly seme, and normal uke. Second couple has a lot of history, seme is more stoic and tries to take responsibility and plan things on his own while the uke is strong and a bit tsundere. Second couple has a bit of enemies to lovers before you learn their story, and also reincarnation.
A Painter Behind the Curtain
list - masterlist, favorite, unique, hidden gem, 9.5+ 70+ I still love this so much, it has a great writing and a story like reading a classic romance novel. Historical with some politcal/revenge plot intertwined slightly between the growing love between two characters. A ruthless and selfish man who puts on a smile but will use people to further his goal for revenge without a second thought, and a talented prodigy of a painter who has been abused and learned not to want too much happiness otherwise his suffering will become unbearable. They chance upon each other and while initially Raymond is only really interested in using Ian to further his own goals, and they are drawn to each other from the beginning and find comfort and solace in each others embrace. Ian is the long suffering character type that somehow still manages to be kind and find beauty in the world, but while sweet and generally timid he's not afraid to make his own decisions and is not so naive as to not understand his own situation. He's not optimistically happy go lucky either, he has his trauma that he carries with him, but is learning to grow and heal. His journey to find love and happiness is quite beautiful and well deserved after all he's been through. Raymond has always been gentle with Ian and treated him with affection, but his selfishness in initially using Ian for his own goals and then later insisting on keeping Ian by his side despite his upcoming marriage are what hurt Ian the most. His character growth was also commendable, his chasing arc was satisfying and he's not just given a tragic backstory but actually shows his moments of weakness and desperation so that you can truly tell how much he cares for Ian. He's also always treated Ian with affection even when he was only planning to use him. They are so sweet to each other and you can truly feel their love and passion. I'm so glad they found their happiness, it's every bit deserved for them both. One of those stories that stays with you, I get sucked right back in on my re-read as well.

Bad Friend
list - 9.5+ 60+ Wow this was a great read! Plot, romance, action, mystery, betrayal, love, it hit every point I wanted it to. The bickering childhood rivals dynamic was a great start, with a natural evolution of sexual curiosity and intimacy that grew to a great love nurtured by the years apart. This is a couple that would truly die for each other, and it was great to see their deep love. Even better that everything was consensual, and just the right balance of romance and steamy scenes mixed in with the plot. Great characters too with our mischievous but righteous uke and serious but smirky seme. Both strong and smart, capable and noble, with a great friendship foundation and loving bickering. Set in a world of murim martial arts that I usually don’t read, but it was really well done and easy to follow.
Tu Quoque
list - cotton candy, hidden gem, masterlist, 9.5+ 50+ THEY’RE SO DOMESTIC I’M SOBBING This is my favorite thing ever. So casual and comfortable, friends and roommates to lovers story. They are so natural with each other and their progression was very natural too. And they are SO cuddly and romantic and sweet, couple goals! They friendly bicker from time to time and nag and get into an argument sometimes, but they love each other so much they can’t stay mad for long. Also the whole proposal and wedding thing SOBS it was so perfect and meaningful and romantic, I can only hope someone would love me that much in the future. The definition of perfect soulmates, they were so wholesome and sweet. I really loved this.
Our Sunny Days
14: oh I’m enjoying this. Nice mix of cute and funny with a slow kind of slice of life setting. Uke is calm and caring but also strong willed and doesn’t take bull. He’s smart and melancholic. Seme is a tsundere but quite entertaining, rough around the edges but a good guy and doesn’t take things too far. 14 now and I'm absolutely dying at how sweet they both are. It's developing very naturally and they're both such good hearted people and attracted to that in each other!! and also both very attractive lol. It's sooo adorable, seems like seme fell first but the uke made the first move even if kind of unconsciously!! I love lonely people and genuine goodness and found family, this is so wholesome and wonderful.
