It was interesting and cute but kind of .... quick? Which tends to happen with these short mangas. Seme with only open relationships so far dates uke who asks him out right after a break up. His condition is to maintain his open status and not get nagged by a clingy lover, and uke knows about this condition and is fine with it. Uke being fine with it catches seme's interest as it's never been the case before, he wants uke to care about it and ends up in love. It's not that uke doesn't care entirely but he's fine with it bc he already knew beforehand and doesn't really believe seme can fall in love with him. Seme is kind of childish in his lack of understanding of his and other's feelings, also quite careless of hurting other's feelings which I guess the uke found cool and admired "living by his own rules". The falling in love for the first time thing was cute but felt kind of hollow and quick as what caught his interest was uke not reacting jealously to things his past gfs have gotten jealous over, and then getting jealous himself. They're cute though, just felt a little empty to me.

Interesting and different with a more realistic story style but maaaan was it frustrating. Both Soma and Wataru are kind of getting over their feelings for their ex-boyfriends and strike up a friendship that turns into a kind of friends with benefits situation. All the frustrating vagueness of a situation ship with a heavy dose of selfish nonchalance from the top Soma, and a painful semi-unrequited love insecurity from the bottom Wataru. Being in love with someone who is still in love with their ex while being intimate with them?? Sounds like hell. They were fairly honest about their unresolved feelings for their exes and kind of refreshingly talked about them quite openly. But that refreshing realism turned dour at the end with the continued vagueness and halfhearted resolution. Soma didn’t do nearly enough to reassure Wataru of his feelings, even I could hardly gauge his true feelings so I’m sure Wataru would be lost. And the last chapter was a dick move inviting his ex to the celebratory dinner, even if they did get along and it ended on happy note. They are very affectionate and touchy and clingy, and had potential to be so cute if they just resolved things properly and showed Soma being a good boyfriend!! Pissed me off and this is one where I’d have loved to see some groveling to at least Soma acknowledging Wataru’s insecurity and his own faults in creating that insecurity and doing his best to reassure him. I’m not fully convinced of his sincerity.

Agree with previous tags, definitely wanted it to be a bit longer! I wanted to see more of their couple selves and Yaku's progression to being just as madly in love with Hino as Hino is with Yaku. He did say he loves him in the end, but it felt like just the beginning stages of his feelings, I need to see him head over heels. Lots of unrequited love and heartache in this, and it was like a love square or ->->->-> type situation. Hino's innocent and outgoing personality was so cute, I get why all the girls doted and protected him lol. And Yaku getting the brunt of it from everyone every time they fight is so funny, I'd love to see more extras of their relationship. I feel for Asano too, what he did to Yaku was bad and he's definitely hurt and cynical and lashing out at the younger couple. I wanted to see Yaku more happily affected by the confession that Hino's always been in love with him, but it came at such a bitter type of moment. I need to see him a puddle bc of Hino's cuteness like the rest of us! Give me more doting Yaku x spoiled Hino please even if they're not used to it.

So this was super cute! Unrequited love and opposite personalities. Outgoing, friendly, kind of lonely playboy type seme but really quite friendly and respectful just can never seem to keep a girlfriend. Serious by the books but kind and tsundere uke who is very insecure deep down. Very dog x cat personalities. Uke has been in love with seme since they met in first year of college. Seme misunderstands him to be in love with his best friend, and painful yet kinda fun hilarity ensues. Seme slowly finds himself falling in love with uke, but bc they both do t want to burden the other there is misunderstanding and annoying angst. The build up of feelings was quite natural though, they both truly like each other for their personality and how good of a friend they are. They both help each other and it’s quite sweet. It can be a bit frustrating at times (especially the uke’s insecurity and constant pulling away) but it’s par the course for these tropes and once things are resolved they are very cute. Seme becomes a bit jealous/possessive and uke is quite sweet. They also have pretty good communication afterwards. Enjoyed it!
