This was great, good entertaining plot with a strong likeable female lead. Intro to the male lead was disappointing and started with rape for what reason....but he's not actually a bad guy and gets better (tough guy who is smart and later sweet, the stubborn and hot headed type but very sweet to his lover later). And their love is so cute! Female lead is kickass but also strangely....mary sue? Impersonal? Idk I couldn't quite connect well but she's gorgeous and strong and wise. Plot moves along well and the politics aren't hard to follow. Interesting with lots of likeable characters. A lot of the characters are given depth and not just throwaways, even if they only appear briefly or had an antagonistic role, which I can appreciate. I like how Edna could sympathize with the Duke that was their enemy, even if he was in the wrong he had suffered too and she acknowledged that. Also like how the mother's were given some depth and their thoughts and feelings shown. I feel like everyone got a chance in this and it was nice. Also nice to see points of views from both Edna and Eli, though I would have liked some more into Eli's feelings and thoughts especially later in the story.

117: absolutely fantastic story, well worth its high rating and one of my favorites. Amazing storytelling, plot, characters, everything you could ever want and more. It’s an easy read and draws you in and keeps you addicted effortlessly. Isekai story but that’s really in the background, still relevant in a way but not the main thing dwelled I’m like some stories. They don’t get too obsessed with the how’s and why’s bc there’s so much other stuff going on with the plot, which I really really appreciate. Plot is incredible, with political turmoil and a fight for the throne at its core but with easy to follow politics that are still intricate but not confusing. Magic and mana that is powerful and cool but not superfluous or an easy cop out for everything. It’s actually very relevant to the plot and very well done. The writing and characters are just incredibly well done, so much intricacy and depth. The characters aren’t just one dimensional beings, they all have a depth and weight that makes you really care about them, even the side characters or antagonists. The main FL has a great personality and is super likeable, nice but also realistic, smart but not just an easy genius, strong but understands her own weak points. She’s so truly lovable and easy to root for, and she acts her age too but at the same time isn’t immature or cringy. Her father is also so well done, his cruelty explained so well, and I’m so incredibly glad he really did love her mom and that they show the impact her mom had on him and the story, bc so many times the mother is just left out as if they weren’t anything but a baby making machine and it’s so sad. The parents love was so sweet and it’s so sad the mom isn’t there anymore but tragically beautiful as well. They dynamic between daughter and father is so fun and interesting, playful but loving. Even the original FL of the novel is loveable and I’m so glad they actually get along instead of making her some sort of antagonist. Right now there’s really minimum romance as they’re still in their teens, but tbh I’m fine with that since the story is so fulfilling in so many aspects. And I’m hoping the magician will be the Ml bc they’ve given him so much more depth and screen time than the other ML, and he has so much more chemistry with the FL. But that’s a minor concern bc I’m immensely enjoying the story for what it is. This is an all time great and I’m so glad I found this (and shocked I never gave it a chance before). I think it’s the best story in its category of these isekai father daughter stories.

52: interesting and different!

up to chapter 39: it is ok, mildly interesting bc of Luca and the fact he also remembers his past self. Art is really pretty and the MC is likeable enough. ML is super handsome but kind of dense. Romance is kind of lacking or feels kind of stiff so far. Mostly just interested in how the plot will unfold.

41: this is soooooo cute!! FL is smart and pretty, and she's understandably a little cold towards the ML bc if her experiences in the past life of being neglected, but she's softening up towards him and seeing his true nature. ML is an adorable giant puppy! He's huge and hot but also really naive and awkward. He really loves her and he always feels like he isn't good enough for her. They're really cute together, and I hope soon they can completely open their hearts to each other.

stalled ch 62: interesting but the updates are really slow and the translation for the new updates are bad, so I'm just going to wait.

up to ch 71: This is great, definitely a slower pace plot wise than the prequel but it's more entertaining to me for some reason. Love both the leads, I feel like they have more character/personality and are easier to connect to. They're both great but also not perfect or invincible like Edna and Eli, they're more human in a way and it makes me like them more. Also a lot more funny moments and cuter romance building, which makes it more fun to read. Balanced points of views for both male and female leads so I feel well connected to both and can see how they feel about each other. Side characters are also interesting and likeable. Also the constant nostalgia and references to characters and things from the prequel is really nice and always makes me really happy. I hope we get more background on the bad guy as well to give him depth, but I'm content with him just being a psycho.

Here for the hate everyone except your dynamic and the simp puppy prince, the girl is ok but kind of bland and the story isn’t really anything special.
