The Deputy Wants To Do It
Ore to Joushi no Koi no Hanashi
710 This first volume is ok. They kind of develop feelings randomly and rapidly, and those feelings aren't really developed much here. But it's light and entertaining and cute. The's boss's story was so sad and provides a nice backstory that gives his characters depth and his actions some more meaning. The one-shot with the high schoolers was a total turn off. The next two volumes were full of drama but great. Volume two focuses on them getting closer and more comfortable with affection. Accepting and expressing how much they like each other, learning to rely on each other. Balancing work and love life. And not wanting to let being in a gay relationship hold the other person back or be detrimental to anyone around them, especially the company. Not wanting your love to be a burden on the one you love. Volume three had so much drama it made my heart hurt. It started out really sweet, showing their daily life living together. Things pick up when Tomoaki gets transferred. Chikashi comes out to his parents and it doesn't go very well. When he seeks out Tomoaki, he sees him with a coworker and child that he had befriended in the transfer. Chikashi breaks up bc he can't give Tomoaki kids or a normal life, and with a miscommunication or rather a missed chance, things take a turn for the worst as they break up. Full drama and angst as they both try to work through moving on and trying to patch things up. And then them trying to reconcile after they've told each other all the details, and finally introducing Tomoaki to Chikashi's parents and back to their sweet life together.
