Welp it was frustrating alright. Mc was the typical sweet naive one, ml was the typical suave arrogant asshole. ML pissed me off too much in the beginning with how he treated and manipulated mc to really be redeemable in the end. I'm really glad the mc took control of their situation and moved and completely cut off ml. seme's realization of love for the uke after uke left was a bit too sudden and unnatural to me. I'm glad he suffered like he did but it all felt so out of character that it wasn't really satisfying and didn't change my feelings for him from how much I disliked him in the beginning. A decent read if you want some drama and angst, but shallow and not really well written to me. like someone in comments said, author fails the seme's redemption arc and just makes it a pity party for him with how he's suffering. he just feels shallow.

I think this was a pretty good regret story. Seme went out with uke bc he reminded him of someone he loved in high school. He said he was treating him like a replacement bc he can't be serious about anyone, but he caught feelings but it was too late bc the uke overheard. Uke did a great job cutting him off and being strong, and the seme really regretted it and did his best to give him space. I think it was a good reconciliation with time and I could feel that their feelings were true. I know people were pissed at the seme, but I honestly think he atoned bc he understood how much he hurt the uke and what he did was wrong and really felt the consequences of acting loosely.
