139: sooo good and funny! At first I thought I wouldn't like it bc MC seemed like the typical optimistic weak naive type but he's really not. He's got a lot of personality and is so hilarious. His banter and back talk is great, and his support of others is genuine and if not then it's very clear when he's trying to be manipulative and comes off comedic. He's clever but also dumb at the same time and brave but also plays up the coward act. I like him more and more the more I read. Only thing that's a bit weird is being hung up on the younger brother that died in the past while not giving as much thought to his brother in the present. At least, that was the feeling I got after a certain part of the story, but he still dotes on his younger brother. Side character are also really interesting and unique, and distinct personalities and roles as well. Even the brotherly love is nice and funny, not too weird. Looove his antagonistic with slight bl undertones relationship with Hyunjae, their dynamic is one of my favorites and even if it's not BL it's a lot of fun to read. Hyunjae is that classic seme done well - handsome and powerful, with a professional fake nicety and elegant demeanor but manipulative with no regard for anyone. He does things just to entertain himself and has no qualms about being cruel or killing, with an ever present smile on his face. A classic snake type character. His brother is the classic overprotective, nice only to him and aloof with everyone else type that is sometimes yandere and has no qualms about killing either. The story is also interesting and it's fun to see how Yoojin will handle the different situations. While sometimes the flow is unclear, it's always fun to just read what will happen. I like that MC and some side characters are not all OP too, there's a mix of ultra strong and some weaker characters, and even the strong ones have their own quirks. Most flawless so far is Hyunjae I think but even he has his funny moments with how he teases and riles up everyone around him and generally ends up hated by everyone else lol. Only the Yoojin seems to have a somewhat good relationship with him and even then they banter a ton. It's a great read, I wish I found it when it was completed bc I have high hopes but the unraveling of the plot could get messy and I don't want to be disappointed since I'm having so much fun reading.
