They fall in love kind of quickly (reading back I just realized love declarations were being made after knowing each other for like a wee??) and things were rough between them at the start but their love really is so beautiful and you can really feel it. Lovely and sad depth of backstory of the uke's past, which helped shape and explain his current personality. Seme also becomes more than a robotic nice guy. Love the dynamic, a bit like a brat and brat tamer or spoiled and caretaker. Seme is a really good guy, the perfect gentleman and endlessly kind and patient. Uke is more dynamic, tsundere type where he is cranky, brash, flirty, seductive, and acts like he doesn't take things seriously but is really keeping people at a distance to protect his own heart. He is also insecure in relationships bc he feels like he doesn't deserve love or shouldn't have love bc of his past and resemblance to his mother. But though he acts like he doesn't care, he's a good guy and has a lot of love. I love how assured in himself he is in other aspects though, confident and fashionable and expressive. Their falling in love was quite nice and you could see why they do love each other and what aspects made them fall in love. It's a good balance and dynamic, where even their strengths like being kind to everyone can become a problem. They work through these issues and have a good foundation and understanding of each other by the start of their relationship, though things will still be up and down as it is in real life.

Bisexuality acknowledgement, mature characters who communicate well and take time to settle into their feelings, respectful seme, and a healthy relationship!
