Mel suffered so much and I disliked how Kain acted in the beginning, but this was a really touching story of two gay men in New York. It has a more realistic approach but the tragedies and trauma that followed Mel were just too much, it reminded me a bit of Stigma where he couldn't catch a break. But he was able to recover and heal, and Kain was by his side for all of it. It follows their life journey to starting a family and eventual death. Quite a beautiful and strong love.
