Senza Replica
Synopsis: Cha Kwonwoo (ML) is an S-rank esper who works his on-call guide, Kim Dowon (MC) to the bone. Experiencing his cold demeanour firsthand, Dowon believes that Kwonwoo hates him, but when an incident turns Kwonwoo into an amnesiac, his attitude changes completely! It's hard to reconcile this lovestruck, smiley fool with the infamous Cha Kwonwoo, but Dowon has to guide him intimately in hopes of restoring his memory, and Kwonwoo is happy to oblige. Review: The chibis are pretty good, but most of the art feels a bit stiff. At least Cha Kwonwoo's face is drawn with lots of care! It's interesting that Kwonwoo's personality has changed so drastically from stoic CEO to puppy dog; it makes you wonder why Kwonwoo has become the way he is. Meanwhile, Kim Dowon acts more like a regular guy, but he doesn't seem to comprehend that Kwonwoo is hard gunning for his hand in marriage. A decent read for when you want a pathetic love interest.
Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation
Synopsis: Shavonne (MC) is a writer who is struggling with his income, his love life and now a stalker. Amidst a series of murders, he meets Lewellyn (ML), an enigmatic man who courts him for seemingly no reason. Of course, Lewellyn turns out to be both the stalker and serial killer, but there's still yet another layer of mystery surrounding him: what is his connection to Shavonne? Review: I enjoy characters like Lewellyn, who has both a mature side and a cute puppy-like side. He's the type of love interest who is an upstanding gentleman to our main character, so I think we readers can overlook his murderous tendencies. Shavonne is also a great protagonist, since he is mature and easy to sympathise with as an everyday poor man saddled with an eccentric suitor. Plus, the storyline surrounding the mystery of Shavonne and Lewellyn's relationship is intriguing, so I highly recommend this manhwa for fans of serial killer romances.
Oblivious
Synopsis: After a chance encounter on a Halloween night, Jihoo (MC) becomes haunted by a ghost (ML), who frequently rapes him. He tries to repel it with a talisman, but the ghost retaliates by haunting other people instead, so Jihoo concedes to the ghost's desire to be with him. Their relationship becomes amicable, but a lapse in the ghost's mental state prompts it to leave Jihoon; luckily, Jihoo manages to remember the identity of the ghost: Hyeon Jooeon, his boyfriend, who is actually not dead but merely in a coma. Review: It's a cute short story, but most readers seem to think that the plot would suit a longer manhwa. The ghost's demeanour is significantly different from his previous personality, but you can attribute that to his being a ghost. Moreover, their dynamic in the ending reverts to their original, non-toxic dynamic.
