Synopsis: In this setting, some people can shape-shift into animals. When an illicit drug delivery goes awry, Gyun Heesung (MC) is forced to revert into his animal form: a small, adorable dog. He finds himself in the care of Yoon Chiyoung (ML), the infamous director of a wolf gang, who reveals an expected affectionate side to his new pet puppy. Heesung must keep his real identity a secret and wait for a chance to escape.
Review: A fun read, especially for those who love pampering love interests. Heesung has a tendency to get angry—and violent—when someone wrongs him, and it makes him entertaining. It seems like Chiyoung also likes this quirk! Speaking of Chiyoung, he's the type of male lead who's scary to everyone but acts pathetic and clingy with Heesung, which is a love interest archetype I'm biased towards but ultimately lacks true depth. Furthermore, the story lacks a feeling of 'deepness' or a 'wow' factor that can make it stand out, but it works well as a romcom with organised crime elements.
