He couldn't show any affection for Juvel because of outside (a.k.a. emperor) threats, and yo the dad Legis Is high key the saddest most heartbreaking pitiable male lead ever. Also I'm loving what the Prince Max and Juvel have become, Max is so willing to change for the better for her <3 Original comment at ch 40: Hmmm it's good but I really want the dad to find out how his daughter thinks he doesn't love her and how he's been acting cold to her all these years. I think he deserves to feel that pain after the misunderstandings he put her through.
