Now at age 26, Minseong is a food stylist at a cafe and Jian, now 23, is a student and model. Minseong dotes on Jian, but Jian has developed an obsession for his hyung that has Minseong reevaluating their relationship (not an easy task as Jian has him wrapped around his pinky finger). Especially when 2 figures from his past turn up and resurface uncomfortable past memories.

An extremely dark and disturbing story but it sweeps you in with the overwhelming obsession that is between these 2 twisted men. Which one is more insane? Crime boss’s son and rising gangster in his own right, Kanghyun Seo first noticed the beautiful son of a famous chef, Lee Dojun when he was in his sophomore year. When they got separated Kanghyun kept looking for his senpai even in his random sexual encounters. And when he found Dojun brutally murdering a man in the back alley streets, he couldn’t have been more delighted. The story then follows their budding relationship and you can’t help but find yourself wishing these highly emotionally disturbed men sone happiness together. Spoiler alert: It’s not too hard to realise pretty early that the author will not be giving our crazy pair the happiness you wish for. It’s much easier to go the tragic route and sure enough the things you anticipate from the characters you suspect unfolds. It’s promises kept and a warm reunion in a better place that bring out the heart hurting bittersweet tears for our dark heroes of the story. I would have given 5 stars if the author made things work for them, I have read stories where MCs like this make their own place in the world. But really, it was still a great story of perfectly imperfect men.

But things aren’t straightforward for an omega and beta pairing at the best of times, let alone when family alliances demand an alpha claim Kou. Are they strong enough to stay with each other as omega and beta?

Story is completed This is a beautifully drawn story of an alpha detective and a beta doctor. Don’t be looking for wholesome love here, these men are much more than homebodies looking for the quiet life. The backstory of drugs and human Guinea pigs is interesting, the unexpected dynamic between Eric and Leon is hot, hot, hot, and the little twists in their relationship is very satisfying. Recommended reading!

A sweet story that follows first year architecture student, Gyu-yeong and his senior, architecture student Yeonu. Yeonu’s kind, thoughtful, and gentle—everything that Gyu-yeong wants his significant other to be. The problem is that Yeonu’s nice to everyone, not just Gyu-yeong. Gyu-yeong knows that he’s not special to Yeonu, but sometimes he wants to give in to the little voice in his heart. The story is character driven and focuses on the simple issues that face new couples; from sex to insecurities to the juggle of work and couples time.

CW: Father x Son relationship (not blood related, adopted) Yuki: Omega, 35yo. Rate omega subtype, has never had a heat. Designer. Kind, gentle, nurturing, a bit clueless with some things. Adopted Haru when he was 8yo. Haru: Alpha, 18yo. Has loved Yuki since he was 8 and determined to marry him. Kissed Yuki and proclaimed his affections on his 18th birthday. Very stoic, alpha style determination and focus, adores Yuki and put him first as much as possible. When Haru kissed Yuki everything changed. That day when he came home Yuki was in heat, scared and confused. Were either of them ready for what was about to happen?

Set in a beast world. The more beast features a being has, the closer they are to the Gods and the more magic they have. This is the story of; -Uni: Cat beastman (Scottish Fold). Magicless. Unwanted 5th son of the poor yet noble Baron Kuze family, Uni is given by his family to pay off their debts to Marquis Gran Anubis Majesta (Danna-sama). Unskilled, unloved, Uni gives his all into fulfilling his family obligation to his surprisingly caring Master, falling in love with the powerful beaatman and unlocking his own hidden secrets along the way. -Marquis Anubis: High status and fearless beastman, the master whose softness is reserved for Uni. Magically very powerful, Danna-sama gives his all to protecting the tiny cat man he falls for. This story follows Danna-sama and Uni falling in love and starting a family. Their babies are adorable and there are many blessings in their life. Together they face every challenge in this sweet fantasy story.

The equivalent of a manga one shot, this story of a reunion had some great potential with good art and chemistry. Sadly for me, the writing was a little too ‘all over the place’ with so much time flashing between the past and present and the feeling that they would part ways. Still, it was a good quick read.

CW: Dub Con A historical BL set in the Korean Josean Era but with a twist. Here, the powers of Yin and Yang play a similar role to alpha and omega in an Omegaverse story. Those with Yin seem able to conceive be they male or female. Yang is the alpha, masculine energy. -Lee Eunwoo: Strong Yin. Given as a tribute to the emperor, Eunwoo is sexually taken and favoured by the emperor on his first day. Failure to acquiesce would harm his family and see himself suffer so be warned, this is forced consent not willing consent. Eunwoo has a gentle nature but must be forever on guard against the Imperial concubines as his being favoured has him rise in their ranks sparking resentment. -The Emperor: A fair representation of such a person who would kill all his siblings to ensure his inheritance. Pure Yang energy. Takes what he wants, when he wants. The story isn’t really romantic to me. Eunwoo has zero choice or control over when he has sex, how often, how long, positions or anything. But he is smart enough to realize that his life is bound here and his safety and existence lie in being the most favoured and beloved. Sad that a happy moment was having the opportunity to choose for himself a hairpin. As for the Emperor, it’s not that he fell for Eunwoo that he wanted them to be the one to carry on imperial heir, but Eunwoo’s lack of political ties in his country. Yes, this pair eventually were apparently “in love” but I never felt that. More the connection of time and a family plus lots of sex. A better life than many for sure. But not heartwarming.

This starts out as your average delinquent (Howth: pink hair, poor grades and attendance, frequently absent father, gets into fights) and good student (Ben: dark haired megane, loner, studies all the time, class president, loves cats) BL story. But it quickly changes when Howth finds himself turning into a cute, pink furred cat that gets rescued by Ben. There are a loads of humorous moments filling the pages of Season 1 as the boys become closer and find ways to juggle study and unexpected cat transformations. Season 2 has some more serious moments even ones that trigger the tears, but overall this was a sweet, fun and enjoyable read with plenty of character growth.
