Himitsu ni shiro yo!!
I wasn’t expecting to like this as cross dressing doesn’t interest me, but these guys were totally adorable. Loved it!
A Song of Blood and Fire
So adorable! I loved the choice for seme and uke, it was such an unexpected dynamic and was pretty darn hot.
Color Recipe
Outstanding! Simply perfect, it’s only a shame that it’s finished.
Itoshii Akuma
A great sequel, I loved all the extra background stories and the shift to include details on all the brothers.
Turning Point (yaoi)
I enjoyed this story, it was different to have such a pessimistic character as a MC. I wasn’t sure if I always liked him, he was prickly and insecure, however that vulnerability was also endearing. Contrastingly, Imamura was adorable and energetic. I loved his stubborn persistence and sweet caring nature.
Akunin O Nakaseru Houhou
The spin off sequel to ‘A Hundred Blossoms To Love’, this is the story of the elder brother Takao and the guy who has loved him for years, Yuzuru. These MCs knew each other in middle school, and for Yuzuru it was love at first sight for the wounded and vulnerable Takao. But further acquaintance with Takao revealed his unpleasant personality. He was avaricious and a little cruel, teasing and testing. When the boys separated, Yuzuru dedicated his future to raising enough of a fortune to offer Takao until they crossed paths again. The rest of the story is about their reunion and developing relationship as a couple. This story is enjoyable because Takao’s personality is so uniquely obnoxious yet loveable. Yuzuru is the one person able to see the hurt and vulnerable child hidden behind Takao’s prickly personality and the fact that he loves him just as he is, is really adorable. Plenty of funny moments and some crossover with familiar friends, this was manga was a fun read that had me perplexed as to why I liked such an unlikeable character so much.
Ijimekko to Nakimushikun
Kyosuke has known Takashi since they were little and training in their first dojo together. At that time, Takashi made Kyosuke cry and the stoic young boy forevermore fell for that crying face. Now years later and Kyosuke has still never beaten Takashi in a fight, but these days he’s experiencing ‘hands on’ in a whole new way. I loved both MCs, the clueless Kyosuk and the impassive Takashi who loves him.
Yukimura-sensei To Kei-kun
Trigger Warning: Incest (half brothers) Lovely artwork for both stories and I liked the plot ideas too. Just something missing in the delivery for me; probably the way the relationships had already started and the reader played catch up. Not my favourite style, I prefer to be there for the journey.
Sayonara, Itoshi No My Friend
