Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #sequel(39)

Two good stories set at a restaurant. The first couple owner x chef was my favourite. It dealt with an established couple and the insecurities of the uke (from his previous relationship where his partner was unfaithful). A chance encounter with the ex who wanted him back brought a lot of old issues to be resolved before he could stay with the seme who made him feel needed and loved. The second couple were childhood friends but the uke there had an obsession with girls with big tits. I didn’t like him, he was so weak and a cheater. I would have been happier to see the seme kick him to the curb.

Sequel to Endou-kun No Kansetsu Nikki. There is a bit more angst in this second book about Endou and Tsuda. Will these guys ever be able to understand their feelings enough to move forward?

Awesome! I was so happy to see Hara-sen find his special guy and loved the lanky guy who just wanted his sensei to be happy. It was also great to see the guys from Doukyuusei cross over here, they are a special pair to me.

Gah! It’s just so good!!

I enjoyed this continuation of Chihiro and Keigo’s story. Chihiro seemed to become more accepting of his feelings for Keigo and Keigo remained steadfast in his love for Chihiro, despite the machinations of a rival for his affections trying to distance the couple. While I wished that Keigo rejected the man pursuing him earlier, it was still evident that he was steadfast and loyal in his love for Chihiro. This story was pretty much a shounen-ai, with the sex scenes left to the imagination other than for a few, non explicit panels.

Make sure to read this series in order. It was great to come back to this pair.

Fluffy feelings and loads of giggles, these 2 connected stories were so cute!

I love these guys. It was beyond great to see them happy together and moving forward as a solid couple.

A great sequel, I loved all the extra background stories and the shift to include details on all the brothers.

Sadly the most disappointing in the series. It’s not that the seme “cheated” that was a problem, I respected him not having sex with a child after all. It’s that he did it so close to the birthday, and that Hisashi had to be blindsided by the lover. That was tacky, especially since Sou went to such great lengths to make sure Hisashi didn’t date. I enjoyed the abstinence punishment (well done Fuu) but come on.. we never got to see the two of them together! There was nothing to wipe away the memory of Sou sleeping with others. Extreme sad face here..
