Rutta To Kodama
So sweet, these two were such a beautiful couple. Not only did they love each other, they were good for each other. Plenty of feels in this romantic tale Kodama Miyagi due to certain circumstances has to transfer to a new school in the middle of the term. And to make matters worse, he gets paired up with the most notorious student in school, Takao Ruizaki, as his roommate. But when Kodama accidentally calls him “Rutta”, and instead of getting mad, Rutta surprisingly likes it! Who would have thought the biggest delinquent in school would have a soft spot for cute nicknames? It’s not long before the two of them develop an unlikely friendship. Why? Well, Kodama starts to see a different side of Rutta when he helps him out whenever he gets bullied by the other students. But just when Kodama thinks everything is peachy, Rutta drops a bombshell and confesses that he likes him. Kodama is like, “Whoa, hold up!” He’s not sure how to feel about it, and the situation only gets more complicated when Rutta starts acting all moody and ignoring him. But when Kodama realizes how much he misses his buddy Rutta, he knows he has to make a move. So, he decides to go for it and confess his feelings to Rutta.
Wakabaryou de, Kimi to
Higuchi and Hidako were so very sweet, I loved how close they were that so much could be expressed and felt just from their hands touching. Wanibe and Sayama were adorable as they learnt to be roommates and then more. Perhaps it was their difference in size or just the innocence of Sayama's face, but there was a real feeling of protectiveness from Wanibe. The final story between Kirino and the dorm supervisor was very different. These two were physically intimate before they were both emotionally connected (which I usually don't like), but there was something so satisfying about their happy ending. Perhaps because it was the biggest effort put into being together in the end that made it feel like a real HEA and not just a HFN.
Tsuzuki wa Asa Made
I enjoyed Zen and Saiji’s story, they were complimentary to each other in that their individual strengths and weaknesses balanced each other out. The outgoing and social Zen and the more serious and introverted Saiji were at their best when they were together and I thought the way Zen respected his partners concerns (like not touching his ass until Saiji realised why he was and did something about it ) and always thanked him for his work or told him that he was cute and loved; the value and respect were such a nice change to many yaoi out there.I thought the rival for Saiji was a great idea, only made difficult for me as a reader because Sagara was also cute and caring. His keen eye saw the weaknesses in the new romance and a part of me almost wished him success as he just wanted to love Saiji and put him first, but I think that would have left me thinking less of the uke if he could be wooed away from his love so easily. I am glad to read from the comments that Sagara gets his own story and HEA, I will look for that next!
Spicy & Sugary
Enjoyable stories, cute characters. Just need some lube for the novices and they’ll be good to go
Free Punch
Two fantastic stories with two diametrically different ukes and semes. The first story had a tsundere uke who kept his college peers and roommates at a distance with cold mockery and sarcastic wit, the second featured a mujaki uke who was relentlessly cheerful, sparkly and seemingly naive. In both stories, there was more to the uke than met the eye. No more spoilers, just enjoy for yourself this great Natsume Isaku manga!
Hanauta Apartment
2 very short one shots. Ok to read but too short to connect with the characters.
Yuuhi ni Fureru Sono Mae ni
I agree with many of the commentators words here; that first story was really lovely.
Binan No Dendou
This apartment is full of different couples and the chapters flow smoothly between the couples while keeping the others frequently visible. It gave the story a warm friendship feeling that went really well with each romance.
