These stories were mostly nice (chapter 5 didn’t appeal to me). The mangaka likes to draw similar characters, all young and innocent looking. I would probably enjoy their work more in a school setting, it felt a bit like kids dressed up, but other than those critiques, these were an enjoyable read.

In this story we have the freshly dumped Junichi drowning his sorrows at a gay bar. There he is reunited with an old friend, Shizuru, only nothing about the younger man seems the same as the sweet, hero like boy he remembers. In fact, Shizuru starts out as someone obnoxious who sexually forces Junichi, sleeps around for money and has a chip on his shoulder about his father. Being together for both guys triggers old memories and old feelings but some honesty and open communication is needed before the vulnerable and sweet side of Shizuru can be seen again. He is lovely in the final chapters, but it’s a bit hard to reconcile that with just how big a douche he was.

Story is finished. A second chance to get things right. When Yamamoto reunites with Minowa at a reunion, he has a few too many drinks and confesses his old feelings. If only they knew then the truth of their feelings, how different things may be now.

Rival yakuza clans on the brink of war. Two second in command leaders in conflict and in bed with each other but what is the truth? This is an awesome story that focuses on Fuyushi Kurosawa, of the Kuroda clan and Tomoya Nishida, of the Kirigaya clan. The inner tussle for power, the external violence between the groups, and the chemistry between these two men make this a must read for anyone who likes their Yaoi with a little danger. Beautiful art too, and uncensored. What more could we ask for?

If you need to read a heartwarming, fluffy feel good kind of story, then this is one you can’t go past. 28yo Nogi Shinjiro has returned to Tokyo after being in America for the past 2 years. When he runs into Aoyama Yuki (28yo), he is stunned to see that the man who rejected his confession has a child. When Yuki needs Nogi’s help he is warmly supported by his old friend. How can Yuki resist his chance of happiness?

When his current roommate introduces him to his younger cousin Kihyun, for the room he was startled to see the child he had met and saved once before was now a tall and good looking alpha. Being roomies should be fine though, because he is a beta, immune to an alpha’s pheromones. Except he isn’t. Neither immune, nor a beta. When he starts exuding his own powerful pheromones Kihyun offers his help to the confused beta turned omega. But why is he being so kind and helpful?

Office setting for a time when everyone has animal characteristics as the result of a move to make both sexes able to become pregnant. Daeun has a new project starting and will be working with a temporary transfer from a different company. He never expected to see the student he fell for in his senior year at high school, Junhyuk. The earnest, puppy like Daeun and the alpha like panther, Junhyuk make for a sweet story as their relationship progresses amongst deadlines, unexpected rivals, and their own misunderstandings.

Completed story Years ago Nao and Nagi were childhood best friends sharing time together on the playground. That was until Nagi’s parents relocated to a place more suited to alphas. Now in college, beta Nao barely remembers Nagi, only in snippets of dreams. When Nagi returns, it seems his old alpha friend has a very clear memory of promises made long ago. Still, it was a shock for Nao when he got drunk and had sex with Nagi. Even more surprising that when they were both sober they still turned to each other. Surprising until Nao realised that he had undergone a late stage secondary sex emergence as an omega. So what do these 2 really mean to each other, and is Nagi even free to be a loving partner?

Completed story This was a sweet story about young single dad Take, his adorably bratty son Kota, and the new kindergarten sensei, Aota. For ex yankee Take, raising his son alone after his wife left has been full of challenges. But the anxieties of being a good parent were matched by the loneliness he found after old friends drifted away and his partner left with a new man. So when Aota praised him for being strong and doing his best, he broke down in his arms. That vulnerable moment bonded this seemingly mismatched pair and their story was really lovely to read. Falling for each other was natural and the little family really were heartwarming. I loved the art for Take, he had such a cute delinquent look that was still remarkably vulnerable. Loved the story.
