I loved reading the love story of Ao and Ryoumei, these guys were complex characters with interesting personalities and a unique history that gave them depth and made it impossible to put this wonderful story down. Add to this some truly likeable friends with Shunpei and Shuu-chan and then you get this wonderful series. Loved it!!!

A really great bunch of one shots, often told with a dash of humour. These were worth a read and probably another read down the track.

An interesting story with some good plot twists. I think it would have been even better if there were more interactions between the MCs that showed why they fell in love with each other because it happened pretty fast and I didn’t feel it. Instead I accepted it because the author made it an established fact. I think what it lacked was insight into feelings, because I would have expected there to be some confusion about feeling love stir in beings not necessarily created to love. Still, the plot was interesting, and opposites attract is always a good choice for a love interest.

Mostly cute short stories, some better developed than others, some very fast paced. They seem to be some of the mangaka’s early work, her chat at the end was very cute too.

I enjoyed the first story with the puppy like, excitable uke and his more reserved and unsociable boss. The seme was right when he classed his new partner as high maintenance and I thought the stalking when the seme was trying to get some distance and control was irresistible. The seme wasn’t the most likeable character but I enjoyed seeing him swept along in the chaotic love of his new partner.

Priest of the Sakurazaka Shrine, Rio Kagurazaka is the heir to the gift of speaking with the messengers of Inari (messengers of God. At 27 years of age, he needs to marry his long term fiancé from the Ujou family in order to keep his powers and serve those who seek help at the shrine. The Kagurazaka and Ujou families have a covenant to intermarry to keep their powers passing through the generations. However Rio’s fiancé suddenly runs away, and her family send their youngest son, Nagi as a temporary replacement until their second daughter comes of age. However, Rio finds the earnest younger man increasingly endearing. What happens if he wants to keep him?

A wonderful story about a strong willed girl with red hair and jade green eyes and the possessive demon who claims her as his pet. The dynamic between Nora and Albrecht was really quite interesting. For all the ageless power of Albrecht’s ancient demon nature, Nora was so natural with him. No wonder he was so fascinated. It was a lovely story with an ending full of good surprises. Highly recommended.

This was a very romantic story about forbidden love when duty and expectations are swept away in the face of love. I liked the characters very much, especially the FL Gabriella who was honest and cheerful.

Two wonderfully original stories. The priest and the cult member followed by the plant guy. They are both a little dark, especially the priest’s tale and even the art style has a suitable grittiness that I really liked. It has a bit of an old style noir effect that suits this mangaka’s offbeat stories.

I have read these stories some time ago and still really like them. 2 interconnected stories with a big age gap, and a school setting ‘caught masturbating’ BL. My favourite was the main story with the corrupt temple priest (nearly 40) with the beautiful voice and the senior high school student who falls for him. His ex yakuza friend and the young homeless guy he saved from prostitution was sweet too, I am glad that he got his own story.
