Trigger warning: Forced sex but author handles it well Fantastic Omegaverse story with great art, hot MCs, and ofc, a really interesting storyline. Tsubame (omega) and Miyama (alpha) have been neighbours and competitive rivals since infancy. One day when fighting Tsubame finally wins, only to go into unexpected heat. The guys relationship goes through some huge challenges but Tsubame isn’t going to let anything stop him from making things work. This story includes a fair amount of their families input, and both families are loving alpha/omega units. It’s rare to see yaoi where the families are like this, and they added so much depth to the story. No more spoilers, just give this one a read Sequel to Abarenbo Honey.

Omegaverse doujinshi based on Eren x Levi from Attack on Titan. This was really very good. You don’t even need to know the original story because this mangaka has placed the MCs in a totally different universe and it’s a complete story from first meeting onward. At first I thought their way of meeting was pure fantasy and enjoyed the freedom a doujinshi can give a mangaka. But that final chapter made everything else click and was a perfect addition.

This Omegaverse is a manhwa (so read left to right) that focuses on the Kkangpae (Korean mafia) of the Taesan Group. With the death of the current leader there is a transition that boss Seojin (alpha) is overseeing. With assassins targeting him, he assumes that the desperate thug pulling a knife on him is from a rival group. However, Harim (omega) is merely a desperate omega looking for fast cash. Now, under the watchful eye of Seojin, Harim’s bubbly and energetic personality starts to shine. He drags the older man out to have fun, breaks things he cleans, and inserts his cheeky self right into the heart of a scary, soon to be, crime boss. I loved the adorable Hajim, and the way he bought out the protective alpha in Seojin was enough to make me pop an ovary. Loved the story, recommended!

Chii-chan (alpha) and Kiyo (omega) have been best friends since middle school. Kiyo has been in love with his oblivious friend forever, but Chii-chan sees the tall omega as a little brother. The shorter and stocky alpha is very protective of his friend though, and works in the nightclub where Kiyo dances to ensure his safety. Even this beginning shows what makes this story so sweet. Neither Chii-chan nor Kiyo are your average alpha or omega, but their affection foe each other is solid, and when Kiyo confesses finally he receives an unexpected answer. These MCs are loving and devoted. They work hard for their future and have a supportive family. The story follows them over a few years and is heartwarming and fluffy. I loved it.

A nice story with an omega whose place of internship has 2 alphas with history with him; his supervisor who was bullied at school by his friends and his coworker who took his virginity and dated him a few years prior. Resentful of alphas, Gyojin struggles sorting out how he feels towards these guys. He is a strong omega who refuses to be pushed around and does things on his terms which was great. However, the story wasn’t really loving. Gyojin ends up dating the alpha he had feelings for, but no love was discussed. The story lacked that emotional connection that I need to rate it well, but it was still a nice read.

This was a fun Omegaverse story. Super lazy omega Suzuya-kun loved his 3 days off from work each month. It was worth lying about his heat being unmanageable in order to have those quiet, lazy days drinking beer and playing video games. When he was asked to mentor new employee Furuike- kun (alpha), Suzuya put on his best smile and worked hard, enjoying his break at the end of the month more than ever. That is, until Furuike-kun turned up to offer his alpha services. Stunned, Suzuya was swept into a sexual relationship and an unexpected bite from his somewhat naive subordinate. Ofc the bite never took as he wasn’t in heat, but with congratulations from work on his pairing, a meeting with the in laws, and an ex fiancée on the scene, Suzuya was swept relentlessly down the rabbit hole of his lies. And when he realised he was in love with his gentle alpha, this poor, overwhelmed omega may just finally be driven to show his true colours.

Trigger warning: Multiple rape An interesting concept with the Enigma class and the abilities it has. There was a lot I liked about this story, mostly it was Tsukasa who was a really good and decent guy. That’s probably why he just forgives Amamiya after he learns everything. But I can’t relate to letting go of the horrible rapes and using his power on him. For what? Revenge for being forgotten? Overkill much? That’s why, for me, despite the self hate and taking an injury by Amimiya, I just feel bleh about the relationship. I am just not as forgiving of the multiple rapes and attempted ruination of Tsukasa’s life.

So much love between these two adorables. High school friends Haruto (omega) and Souta (alpha) have been best friends for years. Head over heels for the naive little omega, Souta keeps other alphas away and stakes his claim on his friend with a sexual relationship to “help” Haruto grow to be a healthy omega. But when he finds out the truth he enters his heat and his anger fizzles away as the two become closer and honest. The story follows their sweet romance (and it really is sweet). The open love declarations, the gentle touches and protectiveness, and the way they prioritise each other is totally heartwarming.

A little twisted and unexpected, I loved this walk on the darker side of things with Yoshiki (alpha) and the man he is fixated on, Tsukasa (alpha). I don’t like giving spoilers in a story with differences like this so just know it was interesting watching the MCs develop their relationship.

Trigger warning: Gang rape, prostitution, violence This Omegaverse was very well written and had some lovely artwork, but the plot line was one of much suffering for the uke and not an easy read because of that. Nanao (omega) was a collared, ‘owned’ piece of property available to a select group of powerful alphas and teachers at his boarding school. His hatred of alphas ran deep but he was willing to use them for money (they had been raping and abusing him anyway) that he used to buy his heat suppressants. When new transfer student Souiji (alpha) started he fell for Nanao at first sight, but refused to have sex with him. Even when he joined the circle of alphas with access to the omega’s, he chastely wooed Nanao with words of respect, treasuring him as he bought all of Nanao’s time. Through some ups and downs these two slowly developed a trusting relationship that would have been sweet (and it actually was) if it weren’t for the toxic treatment of omegas in this world (and of Nanao in particular). A quick example: Ryosuke (in charge of the alpha’s club) called Souiji in to watch him fuck Nanao. He ordered Nanao to rape Souiji with his heat. He offered up all his omegas to the entire school to be fucked if they were caught, giving no warning or time for the omegas to run. He profited off selling omega’s for sex. All that but because he was drawn to be good looking he was given a hinted love interest...bleh. All I can say is that if I had boarded at that school and was an omega treated as Nanao was, Ryosuke’s would be the first one I would slice to death in a killing spree.
