Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #neighbors(15)

Mellow Pillow

Complete | Suehiro Machi | 2000 released

When you’re desperate for sleep a firm ass can be just what you need. A cute one shot, no real love but it was still kinda fun.

Mahoko! Quit Being So Bossy!

Complete | Hiraku miura | 2019 released

Mahoko and Chise are lifelong best friends. Born on the same day, their families living next door to each other, the two grew up alongside each other. So it was natural for Manoko to have a crush on Chise. Sadly for her though, the feminine boy who took her hairbands was gay. He even stole her first boyfriend and she should hate him for that, indeed sometimes she does. But their bond is too deep. So when Chise kisses her, Mahoko is stunned and confused. Who is this possessive, masculine guy? I liked the story. I always enjoy reading about possessive partners in love and this pair seemed destined to always be together, in this life and beyond. Cute. The second story was unfinished, though it looked promising. The translation team was a bit off with some pages uploading and had sloppy cuts which was a shame.

The “Flow” In Flower

Complete | Tsutako Tsurusawa | 2014 released

Two good stories, though the first was easily the best because there was love between the MCs, neighbours Taku and Hiromu. The second couple with the stalker and the gay host was stranger and darker. No mutual love, only one sided and both guys were odd in their own way.

Happy End wa Goisshoni

Complete | Hanakawa chito | 2019 released

Salaryman Sakuraba makes himself cute lunches every day, reads girls' comics, and generally loves all things feminine. Sakuraba is speechless when he meets his favorite manga artist, Megumi Nono, and even more so when he realises that they are neighbours. This absurdly adorable story follow the gentle and feminine top Sakuraba as he falls for his feisty shut-in neighbour. So heartwarming and fluffy

Fuyushirazu no Koi

Complete | NATSUNO Hiroko | 2016 released

A sultry summer setting for a taboo love. Cousins Chihiro and Shuto live next door to each other. For years now, Shuto has hidden that his love for Chihiro is deeper and more intense than acceptable. When his mother discovers his secret one summer night, Shuto is faced with traumatic feelings of shame and self loathing, especially as his mother cried. Yet even that isn’t enough to stem his love for Chihiro though he tries to become the son his mom could accept. The deep emotions and intensity of the changing relationship between MCs is lovely and the artwork is beautiful. I would have liked to see more resolution between mother and son, and a glimpse of the pairs future, but it was still a thoroughly enjoyable story.
