The first story with Uncle and Reo will mess with your head a bit. It had some disturbing moments where Reo was being sexually abused but not in the way you would expect. It’s hard to explain without horribly spoiling the plot, but I actually enjoyed the story. It was well written and dark and surprising. The second story was cute, with the reunion between high school couple after a few years and a growth spurt. Much lighter than the first story, this one was sweet and the seme was a really kind and considerate partner.

A nice group of stories. Not all were HEA, some were HFN and others had the promise of meeting again in the future.

These two couples were beyond adorable, they were just so cute. The first pair with the novelist and teacher was my favourite. Watching Shun-san start enjoying himself and laughing with friends was sweet by itself, then adding his adoring gentle beast made for one of those feel good stories I always live to find.

This is one of the sweetest stories ever drawn. Tiny but feisty, college student Isumi Sakuraba is ID checked late one night by Officer Amasawa who mistook the pretty faced youth for a minor on the streets. The little tsundere met Amasawa again at his place of employment, a local convenience store frequented by the local police. At this second meeting the the tall officer with the sunny disposition and sweet smile sought help choosing a meal and Sakuraba (a member of the cooking club) selected a thoughtful combination of foods that was received with much appreciation. This is the beginning of a new friendship where as the reader I fell for Sakuraba’s cat like eyes and rare smiles, and Amasawa’s gentle sweetness and kind ways. Their romance was so endearing it was sad to turn that last page.

A very sweet story about the petite but full of feisty strength and laughs, Kosuke (aka Ham-chan) and new student Raku, the tall hafu who hides his blue eyes and blonde hair in order to fit in. These two boys become the best of friends and much of this story is about that steadfast friendship and those within their social circle at school. The group dynamic was really sweet because it included girls who weren’t written to be horrible and quirky guys with defined characters. All in all, a sweet story worth reading.

I loved this story! One of my favourite character pairings; the tall, possessive, and intimidating guy (Haruome) and the adorable, tiny and friendly object of his love (Taishi). Haru was direct and straight to the point. He was surprisingly open with his feelings for Taishi and I somehow found his earnest and blunt honesty to be irresistible. This was a winning pairing for me, I absolutely loved the story.

Some cute oneshots, and I liked the little extra at the end for some of the stories.

There is a reason why this manhua rates so highly and that is simply because it’s beautiful. The love and friendship between the characters, not just the main couple but their friends and family, was so real and genuine that I didn’t want to leave their world. The power of loving and supporting those close to you regardless of their sexuality was dealt with so respectfully I was often moved to tears. In fact, I got a bit teary a few times in the loving moments of connection and support. My heartfelt thanks to the author. This is a manhua I will buy to read many times in the future.

Trigger warning: Rape Kozue is unable to sleep well ever since he overslept and missed an exam. So lately he exhausts himself physically with sex with his childhood friend, Katsura. And after some time he accepts additional sex with his classmate Ibuki. But one day Kozue was the one to become became interested in another. The tall and peaceful Kuwai was someone that he could sleep beside. Now to let 2 lovers go while attracting a new love. I found the story a bit annoying. Mostly because I was expecting some serious trauma to underlie the sleeping difficulties, not just missing an exam. And Kozue was such a passive victim in his own life, rather lacklustrely accepting sex for sleep. Don’t even get me started on the uncle. Now that was cause for mental trauma. Why even add it though, it was so weird? Kuwai was sweet though, and I am glad that they became a couple. I won’t reread this.

Interesting. An older seme already in his 30s and his growing relationship with a young boy in his mid teens. It seems like a terrible power imbalance, except there is no penetrative sex for the first couple of years and the love that the seme clearly feels is very sweet. I like that the mangaka highlighted that the pair enjoyed simple couple pleasures like being together in each other’s company and looking after each other. With an absentee father, I could see why Tsubasa was so drawn to the “perverted old geezer,” Eiji. It would be interesting to see them 10-15 years down the track, I could picture them still being together but it will be different once Tsubasa grows into an adult. Nice art too, and a good possessive lover dynamic going.
