Cute story about a bro obsessed first year student, Takao who falls for a rich kids bodyguard, Fujioka. The extra characters ranged from clueless airheads like the older bro to manipulative but nice meddlers like Mizuno. The story was slow paced and sweet and I particularly admired Takao’s personality. He was bold and willing to take risks but also adorable and someone you want to protect.

This was a wonderful story! Erika had such a sunny, outgoing disposition and Sata Kyouya was the epitome of a Black Prince with his ikeman looks and rather sadistic personality. But even when he seemed mean, Erika was very aware of the kinder guy beneath the mask. I liked that they were their authentic selves almost from the very beginning. I loved their friendship group and all the things they faced together over the years. Erika and Sata Kyouya we’re impossible to resist. One of the best shoujo I have read.

Ex delinquent (well, still kind of one) and the Student Council President, Taiga Shishio is a notorious tyrant. Vice President Momoko is the only person standing in his way. This story follows their sojourn towards a tentative friendship based on greater understanding. It’s a cute story, with no romance really but interesting characters.

High school student and delinquent son of an abusive parent, Sakura Yuki was befriended by his young neighbor, Momo. After saving each other in an accident, they were separated during Yuki's third year only to be reunited when Momo was 16 and started attending a local high school. Their friendship resumed, with the positive and determined Momo looking after the 28yo whether he wanted her to or not. Their relationship was so sweet. It was healthy and positive, each gave to the other and the end was lovely.

A GL childhood friends to lovers story. Yun-Cho-Ul and Ju-Ah Ah have always been inseparable. They even had an experimental kiss in high school with each other but nothing disturbed their friendship. Nothing that is, except for Ju-Ah’s every growing wish that she could be her best friends lover. I think that the art was pretty and the sexy scenes were nicely done. My problem really lay with Cho-Ul being so inexpressive. Even after chapter 8.5 which was from her POV, nothing in that made it feel like she really loved Ju-Ah. She lacked heat and intensity of emotion. Also, Ju-Ah had so many erotic daydreams I didn’t realise the lovemaking scene where they finally got together was real.

Hilarious and fun, this scary faced wild girl was simply perfect. I love that Hirata Mihane has the “heart of a maiden” and it’s true she is quite romantic with her poetry and sincere love for Touma-kun. But her occasional wild temper and bursts of violence are also part of her personality (though let’s be fair, she tends to lose her temper on behalf of others). She is also protective, loyal, observant, and crazy strong. Touma-kun is the oft befuddled ikeman who genuinely appreciates her for who she is.

A cute bunch of stories in school settings. The girls are no pushovers and all the stories were worth a read. Early work for this mangaka, I like how she tends to create strong female leads and the tomboy type.

It’s a sweet story of a friendship rekindled between a young man and the protective house spirit who is bound to forest areas.

Hanyuu is 22 years old with the face and build of a high schooler. Which is unfortunate because he is desperately seeking a teaching position. On the verge of giving up, Hanyuu is offered a position at a prestigious private school. Only, it’s not quite the role he anticipated. Kirimura Raiga (that’s Raiga-kun to Hanyuu) is a rebellious problem student forced to share his dorm with the new transfer, Hanyuu. The pair immediately clash in a barrage of tears, alarms, and no holds barred chaos. It’s many moments of hilarity as these opposites clash and the beginning of an attraction and respect that is sweet and sexy at the same time.
