They had that fast pace often a hallmark of oneshots, but they were still fun reads and had some hot, sexy moments too. From childhood friends to a pretty faced monster to med students at a mixer, these are a good choice if you like a touch of the bad boy in your stories.

There’s a reason that this is so highly rated, and that’s simply because it’s marvellous. Set in a fictitious country that gave the author a lot of freedom with mixing the criminal, business and political worlds, this story had an intriguing plot and great characters. With the kind Chansol, haunted by a devastating past and the dangerously unpredictable Park Hanhoo, a man whose only weakness was Chansol. Simply put, this was *chef’s kiss

Lifelong friends Yoshiro (popular with girls, serious) and Dai (airhead, energetic, good natured) are facing a change in their friendship. As for Dai, it took dating a girl to realise that the one who was always on his mind was Yoshiro. How these clueless yet adorable guys get their relationship moving in a new direction is full of fun, missed signals and help from unexpected places.

Shinonome and Yukimura’s wrap up story has Yuki chan considering things from a new perspective as big changes loom. This was a satisfying conclusion for our prickly VP and his laid back delinquent lover.

These stories were enjoyably heartwarming and easy to read. The mangaka likes symbolism and there was a little in each story. The first it was the sky and all the different ones to experience in the world, and the second it was a love of shiny, bright things and snow. The characters had an opposites attract appeal and while the step to being in love may have seemed fast, it was balanced nicely by seeing each couple in their respective futures.

One of the sweetest, fluffiest relationships ever. Childhood best friends, Fumi and Kaichi are high schoolers a year apart in age and grades, but closer than brothers. The bright and shining Fumi is treasured and spoilt by the otaku Kaichi and their story together is full of laughs and sweetness as well as some sexy scenes together.

Completed story Years ago Nao and Nagi were childhood best friends sharing time together on the playground. That was until Nagi’s parents relocated to a place more suited to alphas. Now in college, beta Nao barely remembers Nagi, only in snippets of dreams. When Nagi returns, it seems his old alpha friend has a very clear memory of promises made long ago.
