Childhood friends to lovers, this follows the couple from age 15 to moving out to university with the pair adjusting to changes along the way.

The story of Katsura and Sou was so lovely to read, they were such a beautiful couple. The secondary characters were so good I wanted to see a story for them too (Katsura's brother and best friend). I think one of the absolute best parts of this book though was the artwork. From Katsura's big eyes over the shoulder of Sou as he was held in a hug, to the form of the boys as they held their bows and released the arrows to perfect pages like when the 4 boys were on the beach looking out at the ocean. Such beautiful work made this a joy to read!

This was long and mostly enjoyable with a focus on boys boarding school life as well as the relationship between the main characters. I found it let down by the rape like first time between the 2 (though it was explained as an attempt to drive the uke away). Also, it seemed that Jou was the relentless pursuer, and to be honest, he didn't get enough from Azuma to make it worth it. Too much imbalance. Then too, Azuma was in a relationship with a woman while having sex with Jou, and that was not resolved as having ended by the end of the story.

Really enjoyable and I loved the contrast between the beautifully drawn characters with their clear lines and big eyes, and the creepy and scary spirits.

Sweet with some nice artwork. The playboy uke was kind under all his irritation and yelling. For me, the seme was quick to give up and he never really showed any significant depth of feelings or vulnerability that would have made his liking more believable.

Beautiful boys, I loved how they were drawn; the differences between the two. A sweet story, wish there s more.

Well, those two took their sweet time getting together. Given how long their friendship had been going, its sad they couldn't be a little more open and talk with each other at the time. But hey, I suppose that's just part of adolescence and intangible worries and intense feelings and sex all those good things that come together to mess with your head.
