I liked this story set in a world of humans and beast humans. The MCs were an albino lion advanced student studying medicine and a black panther sports student who were sharing a dorm room. I would happily read more of these guys as they head off to college.

There is a reason why this manhua rates so highly and that is simply because it’s beautiful. The love and friendship between the characters, not just the main couple but their friends and family, was so real and genuine that I didn’t want to leave their world. The power of loving and supporting those close to you regardless of their sexuality was dealt with so respectfully I was often moved to tears. In fact, I got a bit teary a few times in the loving moments of connection and support. My heartfelt thanks to the author. This is a manhua I will buy to read many times in the future.

Maasain exchange student Luca comes to stay at the home of the gentle animal loving Makoto’s family in Japan. From the moment they meet there is a connection between the tall, cheerful warrior from the savanna and the small, freckled Makoto. The story is full of beautiful moments as these boys from different countries and backgrounds fall in love. To truly have a genuine chance at a future together, Makoto and Luca need to plan for the future and trust in each other. This beautiful story is full of feel good moments and lots of laughs. The art is lovely; this is definitely a recommended story to read and reread.

Neighbours then step brothers, Hisaki and Yuzuru now only had each other after the death of their parents. When Hisaki realised his love for his younger step brother involved sexual desire he tried to suppress it by becoming a sex worker at a brothel. Specialising as a dom, Hisaki became the number one employee for his detached and cold edge when dominating his subs (something that seems amazing when you realise that he is actually a masochistic sub himself). When Yuzuru sees Hisaki enter a cheap motel with a client his rage reveals that he too has been struggling with repressed desire for his onii-chan. The rest of the story follows these guys as they slowly realise their feelings are mutual. For all that Hisaki looks sweet and blushingly innocent, he has a knack for dirty talk and Yuzuru is just the one to inspire him.

These guys were absolutely adorable. Seichi Hasuki was a single dad (34yo) designer who was looking for love and someone to spoil him. Inukai is the much younger man who fell for him at their first meeting. Both men are beautiful and both come with a bit of baggage that needs to be worked on. I loved their dynamic and it was also fun to see their kinky bedroom role play and cosplay. Recommend read.

15yo student and aspiring artist, Yuka’s grandmother has been hospitalised with a stroke. He saw his new neighbour Gotou kissing a man on the doorstep and found out that the man with the beautiful face was his new 23yo math teacher. Determined to fill his grandma’s shoes as leader of neighbourhood watch he posted warnings over Gotou's door and would only stop if his new sensei let him draw him. So started a romance between Yuka and Gotou that was really quite intense. Sensei started out resistant to Yuka’s charms, but the more he learnt about the positive spirited boy the more he was drawn to him. I liked how the mangaka focused on the emotions that were evolving within and between the MCs.

Read before Mukuchi Na Koi No Tsutaekata. The very adorable story about a naive country bumpkin Kazuha (20yo) who heads to Tokyo to work for restaurant owner and manager, Hongou. The MCs were a perfect match but they still had misunderstandings and growth as a couple who learn to communicate well to work on over the course of the story. Lots of lovely moments of humour (I think the mangaka had a blast with the cucumbers).

Some messy uploading to deal with but the story itself was interesting and unexpected. A good natured saviour type seme and a rather quiet and gloomy uke with a secret. Despite their differences and difficulties, these guys were good for each other. Very sweet and warm ending.

Kinoshita is a handsome high school student who is a bit of an airhead. He has fallen in love with his cool classmate, Yano. Their story ticks all the boxes for cuteness, consent and communication. I love that their friends all know about them (thanks to Kino’s big mouth and tiny filter) and are supportive and that both MCs are focusing realistically on staying together beyond high school.

This is such a lovely story. Apprentice patisserie, 19yo Hinata Shogo works at a little run down cake shop in the city. His mentor Hanagiri Akira, is also the man who saved his life after a car accident 2 years before and he is the kind, gentle man that Shogo is in love with. However, when Shogo finds out that there is a whole other side to Akira he becomes upset. Not that Akira isn’t perfect, but that he didn’t put in the effort to know the man he loved better. And so this bright, bubbly young man openly declares his love and envelops Akira in mayhem and happiness.
