Chronically unemployed, naive, and just a little too gullible, Meguru Watanuki always shows up at his friend Kaname Tatsumi’s door when he needs help. This beautifully drawn story follows their relationship with the dangerous and protective Kaname saving Meguru from countless dangers that he enthusiastically tumbles into. However, it’s Kaname’s secret life that is the biggest danger of all. Truly wonderful story, fully uncensored with well crafted MCs. Highly recommended.

Two interrelated stories. In the first there are the host Leo, and chef Jin. An ex gang member, Jin knows what it’s like to need a hand up sometimes, so when he finds Leo homeless in the rain one night, he takes him home. As a thanks, Leo happily performs sexual favours on the bewildered Jin. A cute story, though personally I found Leo not the most likeable character, however the older Jin was a sweetie. The second story was very good. Cafe worker, Kaname had a huge unrequited love for their much older boss. There’s more to the quiet cafe owner than meets the eye, but this pair know a lot of each other’s secrets.

The story of lawyer Aki Himejima, and Yakuza gangster Ryuji, was not as good as I hoped. It’s very much a story of Ryuji’s one sided love for Aki, and Aki’s one sided love for his straight Yakuza friend, Keigo. There was a nice quirk of Aki’s where he adored cute things and being treated like a Princess. Ryuji was the only one who knew that side of Aki and he worshipped the man he loved with endearments that catered to that need. I found it a bit sad at how long it took for Aki to value and love Ryuji. 10 years pining for someone not remotely interested in you while using one who loves you isn’t the most romantic story idea.

Rival yakuza clans on the brink of war. Two second in command leaders in conflict and in bed with each other but what is the truth? This is an awesome story that focuses on Fuyushi Kurosawa, of the Kuroda clan and Tomoya Nishida, of the Kirigaya clan. The inner tussle for power, the external violence between the groups, and the chemistry between these two men make this a must read for anyone who likes their Yaoi with a little danger. Beautiful art too, and uncensored. What more could we ask for?

Really good short stories, all of them. The yakuza and delivery guy had a good level of intrigue and strong characters that created some great chemistry and sexual tension. The school setting was the sweetest story of the bunch with the one sided crush. And I really liked the mechanic and stoic salesman. Their unexpected friendship between straight guys that progressed to romance was well paced and I liked the honesty of expression of feelings.

Completed Story. Omega Tatsumi had met his fated pair in highschool. But fate didn’t select a good alpha for him. Marriage and a baby didn’t change his partner to a decent man who steps up to his responsibilities. So when Tatsumi was faced with a debt to the yakuza and an ex husband who had disappeared, he was the one who had to protect his son from danger. However, the yakuza who was awaiting payment had decided to claim Tatsumi for himself. And worse, this scoundrel was the type to defy fate and make Tatsumi fall for his protective possessiveness and surprising kindness. Can there be more to love than mere fate?

Shishio: 21yo. Raised and shaped in poverty, Shishio was a brute juggernaut of an omega. The only one who had his respect was Masumi, the young yakuza boss who found him and mentored him into the group. Any softness in Shishio was for the one he wanted to pair with. Masami: 33yo alpha and young boss of the Yoshigane Group. For all his beauty, Masami was not a man to cross. He may be the young boss, but he would give up his position for Shishio. I loved the art, and having such a strong omega in the plot made this irresistible. Masami had a slightly crazy side too which was appealing. Only downside for me was that the story wrapped some obstacles up too easily or swiftly, but the bond between this alpha and omega was great.

Completed story. Son of a Yakuza boss, Kouichi was born to a family with alpha lineage and is pressured every day by his father to mate with a capable alpha to produce an heir. Kouichi's rock is his childhood friend, a beta named Hiromu. The two teens have been each other’s everything since they were young and now their feelings have deepened. But things aren’t straightforward for an omega and beta pairing at the best of times, let alone when family alliances demand an alpha claim Kou. Are they strong enough to stay with each other as omega and beta?

Completed Story CW: Pedophilia, rape, child abuse, murder (not done by either MC to the other) Yuen was abandoned by his parents and taken to an orphanage. His only support was his roommate, 16yo Yan, who became like a kind and protective older brother. Yan nii-chan also cherished Yuen like his younger brother, but one night something happened that changed everything. 10 years later the Yakuza, Aoyagi turned up at the orphanage to take over handling of the remnants of the nearly derelict place known for human trafficking. There he met the last remaining teacher Yuen and his two charges. This story is their relationship and it was beautifully drawn and remarkably sweet, especially given the many dark underlying themes. Sexy, uncensored hot scenes mixed with caring and warm feelings; such a wonderful mix!
