I have read these stories some time ago and still really like them. 2 interconnected stories with a big age gap, and a school setting ‘caught masturbating’ BL. My favourite was the main story with the corrupt temple priest (nearly 40) with the beautiful voice and the senior high school student who falls for him. His ex yakuza friend and the young homeless guy he saved from prostitution was sweet too, I am glad that he got his own story.

Not my cup of tea. The first pair with the loveable idiot got better as a story as it progressed, but simply put I didn’t like the seme. The second story had zero romance. It absolutely sucked with the promiscuous school council student President I would rate it zero of I could. The third story was ok. This wont be a manga that I reread.

A dark edged drama about a decorated detective who hides a shameful secret. Munakata is helpless before his body’s needs for sex after he catches a suspect. And not just any sex but humiliation and rough sex that would ruin his career if word got out. One evening he was caught by his kouhai Toru, as he was publicly masturbating for an audience. Initially shocked, the young and starry eyed Toru decided to take charge. The rest of the story follows their developing relationship as Munakata slowly trusts enough to relish the affection and care that a good dom lavishes on their masochistic sub. I loved the artwork, it had a gritty depth that really suited a cop/ underworld setting for a story. The mangaka drew exceptional naked male bodies with lean muscles and a really sexy masculine strength (uncensored too).

Sonezaki Keiichi is an ikeman of heart fluttering proportions. Used to being judged on his looks alone he has learnt to hate how most people look at him once and fall head over heels for him or simply resent him for his daunting popularity. So for all his beauty he is a distant, solitary and aloof young man. That is until he met his brother’s friend, Takamiya Natsuki. The pocket sized (comparatively) man with a passion for photography bought out feelings he had never experienced. Read this for the melting of an iceman’s heart as he experiences love and all it’s messy emotions for the first time. Very cute uncensored story by Yamato Nase.

These were mostly good stories with masculine guys and a fair smattering of dub con/ just barely consented. It feels more like bara than yaoi, love did not feature as heavily as moving straight to sex and sexual domination did. Still, there was plenty of variety, with the werewolf one being my personal favourite.

If you need to read a heartwarming, fluffy feel good kind of story, then this is one you can’t go past. 28yo Nogi Shinjiro has returned to Tokyo after being in America for the past 2 years. When he runs into Aoyama Yuki (28yo), he is stunned to see that the man who rejected his confession has a child. When Yuki needs Nogi’s help he is warmly supported by his old friend. How can Yuki resist his chance of happiness?

JoJo’s Caesar A. Zeppeli (20yo) and Joseph Joestar (18yo) in a short delinquent yaoi. Uncensored sex scenes were great, and overall this was a good, fun read.

Hard working salaryman Atsush sometimes struggles with the demands of single parenting. So when he finds his son in the park at night with a strange man, he could be forgiven for lashing out in anger. Once he was told the truth of the circumstances and realised Hiiro was his neighbour, he went out of his way to apologise with the beautiful young man. What he never expected was to find out that Hiiro was a vampire. Nor did he expect to fall in love with his elusive and lonely neighbor.

I love this story. It’s Omegaverse but the 2 fall for each other without the influence of hormones which makes for such a pleasant change in this verse. Captain of the Judo Club, Mochizuki (omega) and Captain of the Karate Club, Ishio (alpha) are highly competitive representatives of their sport. But beneath their banter and arguments lies an interest and awareness of the other that makes Mochizuki want to tease and brings a blush to Ishio’s cheeks. Add some beautiful artwork with athletic guys and no censorship of the naughty bits, and this is a complete winner.

Sequel to I Want To Be Naughty, this one had a little more angst as the airheaded delinquent, Towa fumbles with defining his relationship with the student council President. We see the mix of bullying cruelty and protectiveness of Mikado and the clueless innocence of Towa. All the original friends and Towa’s brothers are there as well as a new seductive potential uke. I liked the hints of interest between a few characters that seem to be setting up to be later explored.
